Best mouse for FPS!
Been using the mouse for a few weeks now and it's the best mouse I've owned! Had a razer Naga before this but as I play mainly FPS games now and not mmorpgs I decided to get something with less buttons. The Rival is a very comfortable mouse to use for hours on end, the sensor in this is amazing so accurate and it really makes a difference in shooters, all the buttons and scroll wheel feel like they are top quality! Comes with weights so you can adjust it to suit you, personally I like a slightly heavier mouse so I have all the weights in. And who doesn't like a light show haha

Amazing gaming mouse
I bought this mouse as I am a bit of a fan boy of SteelSeries. All bias aside this mouse is amazing the size and shape of the mouse fits my hands perfectly and the weight is balanced making long gaming sessions comfortable. The RGB is pretty amazing with 8 different lighting zones and so many different combinations of lighting designs. I have spent about 2 months with this mouse and I can certainly say it is worth the money and will make anyone’s gaming experience 10x better.

Best mouse for FPS gaming i had so far
Best mouse for FPS gaming i had so far, altho i had motly cheper ones ones till now, not regretting spending a bit more on a good mose. Its very light and accurate, whit quick swich betven faster and slover speed (aka playin on slow vs. lotting on fast seting in PUBG). Havent figured out any the ballance from adding the veights on it, the 4g ones that u get whit it, only 1 pair on 3rd place, makes i still balanced betwean front-back, the others places messnup the ballance for me, but since the 1 pair is enough i'm not complaning. I also have big hands, which was a concern for me whit buying mouses, and even tho doesnt have big hips, its still enoigh comfortable to hold since its on the bit longer site than most that i held so far.All in all for my taste very happy whit the buy, also got delivered in 3 work days to Germany via normal post setting, so quite happy whit the purchase so far, nkt just hope it holds up for a while :)

Excellent mouse, but be aware of rubber pad degradation
Time to review this product, I've had it a while now (since Feb 2019)As a point of reference, my previous gaming tailored mice were the Cyborg R.A.T 7 Contagion (I believe MadCatz have now taken over the range) and the Logitech G502, I would rate the Rival 600 over those two.Rival 600 has good features but not as customisable as the R.A.T 7, to be honest though all I required was the ability to change the weighting, which you can! Nice lighting effects especially once you pair it with steel series engine software. In terms of usage, the G502 does come close to matching the Rival 600, but the G502 scroll wheel lets it down, it's just cumbersome. The scroll wheel on the Rival 600 feels lighter in this respect and 'easier' to scroll - especially when using it for games. This is where it might change your mind about the Rival 600, the rubber pads on the side of the mouse, within a year of usage (playing games most nights) the pads started to slide a little and leave a sticky residue. I ended up taking off the rubber pads and throwing them away. Next, with the help of sticky tape, gradually peel off the oily adhesive left behind, to leave a nice shiny plastic finish. Obviously the mouse won't look as good as it did with the rubber pads, but, you don't have that nasty sticky residue seeping out either. The mouse is good to go again.I think Steel Series for their next design, consider not using adhesive rubber pads, or at the very least, try another brand of adhesive, I can see that I'm not the only reviewer who has picked up on the rubber pad issue. But as I described above you can resolve the issue cleanly with sticky tape, beyond the rubber pads, this is a fantastic mouse, I highly recommend it.**Might be worth mentioning I haven't had any double clicking issue either so far with the Rival 600, that issue where you click once on the mouse, but windows registers it as two or more clicks, I've encountered this on the R.A.T 7 and G502, very frustrating when general navigating or working.

Excellent Gaming Mouse
I play Call of Duty just about every evening. I need a good solid mouse, that can take a bashing. This is my 2nd time buying this mouse. The previous one started to lose it's rubber panels, glue came loose. But I can forgive that, as it gets used so much and had no hesitation ordering another one. Plus I could always have cleaned up the old one and stuck the panel back on. It was the one by my thumb. The first mouse was unharmed in any other way, I still have it, may repair it at some point, if I have time.

Absolutely middle of the road
Very chunky mouse, works better on MOBAs such as LoL rather than an FPS such as CS2.

Amazing for everything
This is my favourite mouse ever. It fits my hand perfectly and suits my natural grip (low palm). All the buttons and the scroll wheel are very tactile and clicky, but not noisy. The weights provide extra customisation to fit you're preferences perfectly. I use all eight 4g weights, as I prefer a heavy mouse. The top button lets you change the sensitivity presets of the mouse. The illumination options are sublime. The Steelseries software makes it easy for you to configure the illumination with many different colours, effects and patterns. You can set game presets which can automatically run depending on which game you're playing. I've been using this mouse for over a year now almost everyday for schoolwork and FPS (R6S and Overwatch) and third person shooters and it still looks great.

Top Mouse, Would buy.
Greatest mouse I have owned. It's extremely comfortable to hold and runs smoothly across any surface. No input lag and is extremely accurate. The weight system means you can adjust the weight comfortably. The Steel series software is very easy to use and makes adjusting the mouse settings very easy. The mouse buttons add much more input available in games and are easy to reach and use. The detachable USB cable makes it very easy to carry it around with you and the weights have their own little box to carry around with you. Packaging is very clean and easy to open. I would recommend this mouse to anybody wanting the best they can get.
