This gadget arrives in its own little cardbord box, might be useful for storage. Note that the meatball scoop (the metal tool) is smaller than it looked and a bit wobbly. It is roughly the size of a cookie scoop, maybe slightly larger, which is okay if you want to make small meatballs--and they are a pain to make one at a time, so the plastic scoop/rake devices are a good idea. There were two each of the rake/scoops. I'm taking off one star for no directions -- it was necessary to go back to the site, look at the pictures closely and view the short video to understand how this thing works.

I am a cook at heart, and one thing that I love to make is homemade meatballs. The problem that I have is getting these uniformed in size and form. This little tool made this a much easier experience for me and was very crafty to use. What I liked most about this former was the ergonomic design of the spatula and how easy it was to portion the meat and scoop out four perfect meatballs each time. then, using the former, I could take the meat and turn it into a perfect ball without having to roll it around in my hands. This made cooking my meatballs much easier because of the uniform size. Cleaning the tools was a breeze, and it did not take anything other than some soap and warm water. I am very pleased with this meatball maker.
