This sound system was delivered on time and is everything that I was looking for. It has superior sound and quality. I purchased this sound system for long range reception and was pleasently surprized with the reception. We are 100 percent with this sound system and highly recommend this item.

CD will not play Door opens then closes One time said reading..However CD still does not play!!! Model RX-D55. Return and replacment product is requested... Good little boombox, plays just about anything... the "adapter" that comes with it is a plugin 50w peak transformer, it only mentions "peak" wattage because it should be rated at 25w or below. It is NOT enough to power this unit safely, and one should use a better transformer or in my case in Europe I don't have any problems. You can't turn the thing on to use the "Music Port" without the remote, and that's the only reason I got this to up my laptop sound a bit, and it's great for that except I have to find the remote, which is plain ridiculous. First a couple of observation: the unit is designed for 220 volt operation. For most the use of the supplied adaptor will be necessary. This adapter gets very hot, so I would strongly suggest unplugging the radio when not in use. I have ordered a replacement. The adjustment of the spacing of FM and AM stations spacing is rather tricky. The AM band does not go to the 1710 KHz standard. With a full compliment of batteries it may be heavy.1) The sound quality is very good2) The AM radio is very good3} The CDs are inserted in a tray4) It does play MP3, but It did get confused with a lot of folders5) The earphone jack is on the back6) The unit does seem to get rather warm7) Without batteries all of the programming is lost when unplugged.Hopefully, this will help you.

It is LOUD. . which to me is the most important feature that beats any other. It is all good. but wow is it loud.Oh the battery situation is not good. they are hard to insert and so far it has not worked. I bought all the batteries 8 AA along with 6 C/ but i am still using the plug. i love it anyway. it is LOUD.

Watch out for the plug , would not fit my house outlets could not try out, would have saved time if could have seen plug, really liked the size though

I have purchased Panasonic products before. Panasonic is number 1 with me when it comes to quality.Very pleased with my new Panasonic product.

The power cord included with this model is. not designed for use in the United States. When I tried to trouble shoot using Panasonic's website, there was no help. Their chat option didn't seem to recognize this product. Also, everything related to Panasonic's help seemed to assume I live in Asia.Also, there is no info either in the manual or etched into the unit regarding what size batteries to use. All in all, a waste of time and money.
