I ordered cream color in throw size and twin size. I returned the throw size because the photos did not show that it had fringe/tassles on all 4 sides. That was something I did not expect to see when it arrived. So I ended up returning the throw. The twin size is beautiful. It came with a notice that stated that the size is slightly larger to accommodate any shrinkage it endures through washer/dryer process. I did not notice any shrinkage as I placed it in warm washer/dryer. I did clean out my lint collector from dryer, and what came out was a huge cotton ball of fluff! This twin blanket I kept has no odor or scent to it. It is perfect and has a tag that says it's made in Portugal. I am happy. It is super soft and not too thin. It is perfect for winter. The light cream color is beautiful.

We used this blanket for my son's bed, he likes a soft blanket. This is very well made and surprisingly soft for cotton. Think the inside of a cotton sweatshirt. It was particularly soft when we first got it, but then it started to pill badly, so we had to wash and dry it. Massive quantities of lint came off in the dryer, I had to take the lint out 3 times during the cycle, totally full. After washing, no more lint. It's still soft, but not quite as soft, just like after you wash a sweatshirt. I would definitely recommend it and it's a very quality product. Worth the money and I expect it to last a long time.

I love this blanket because it is light-weight but warm, soft and holds its shape even after washing.

We love these blankets. I really have no idea how old the other blanket is but I know I have had it for MANY years. I kind of shrieked with joy when I saw it on Amazon and checked the label with the one we have that I purchased many, many, many years ago and found they're the same. The old one has been used and used and washed and washed and dried and dried and is still absolutely beautiful. We will still be using the old one but it is awesome to have another for the other bed. I'm thrilled. You may never find another that wears as well as this one. It keeps us warm but never gets hot. The joy of quality cotton.

This throw is absolutely beautiful, soft & extremely well made. It is very light-weight and is just heavy enough to keep the chill off without being overly warm. The ivory color is nice. I bought this to replace an itchy, scratchy Afghan blanket that my x-wife made for me years ago. I need the throw for naps after work or on colder nights watching TV when the fireplace insert hasn't heated up the room enough yet. My problem is that it's just not long enough, wrapped around me sitting with my feet up on the cushion or laying down on the sofa - it needs to be about 10 to 12 inches longer (heavier weight would be nice too). The width is perfect. This seems to be the normal size for a throw blanket though, and stepping up to a twin-size for the sofa would be overkill on the width. I'm a 5'9" 62 year old male, 180 lbs. When laying down on the sofa, I need to hook it over my feet (because it is so light-weight and slides up) to keep the cold out, and then the top just barely covers my shoulders. There are times when I'd like it to partially cover my face so that I can breathe warm air underneath it. Despite this, I'll learn to adjust to it - I only buy high-quality things and this throw screams quality.

We had a blanket similar to this one. It, however, go sent to Goodwill by accident. It had a feel, cuddle factor, and texture that were unique with respect to our other blankets. I went through Amazon's entire collection of medium weight cotton blankets looking for one right one. I found it, but I had to do it with out touching it. When It came to our door, I opened it up right away to see if I made the right decision since it was more costly than other blankets. It was the right decision. Both I an my wife love the blanked. It is actually better than the one we gave away. We're very pleased with it. It not too cool and not too hot, it's just right for a good night's sleep.

Very soft blanket and love that they made them longer to allow for shrinkage . Super soft .

Updating my review. The blanket feels really good touching it but shedding is so bad I have to vacum every other day. There is ton of lint everywhere. I really doubt this is real cotton to be falling apart like this. It's just not right.
