I bought this as a gift for my best friend’s son, and it was the highlight of the day. Honestly, the adults were more excited than the kids! Every "grown-up" at the party wanted a turn to try out the remote, and everyone was asking me where I bought it. The excavator is really impressive. It has a metal bucket that makes it feel much more durable than most plastic toys, and the lights and engine sounds make it feel like a real construction vehicle. It comes with two rechargeable batteries, which is great because it gets a lot of use once you start digging. It works perfectly in the dirt and sand, but even on the carpet, it’s a lot of fun. If you want to be the "cool friend" who gives the best gift, get this just be prepared to share the remote with the other adults!

My kid loves his remote excavator! This toy has been put through some work from my 3 year old and still works great. This is one of the toys i think every kid should have. Keeps him entertained for hours and battery holds really well. Came with an extra battery and charger which is always nice.

Incredibly detailed model and a ton of fun to play for both adults and kids. It is a hit in the household.

It is nice little bulldozer unit. Body is plastic, some pieces are little too weak, (the light, the exhaust pipes, all broken after a few months of playing, my kids does get slightly rough with that toys, but I do expect a little more robustness or of them. But not faulting the quality you much. The bucket of metal. It does ride and lower as stated. The driving tracks looks good. Gives good traction for hard floor or carpet. I also do wish a little more power on the driving system, as I found that it is struggles when simply pushing sand around the sand pit, if the bucket has more than an inch of sand in front of it, it doesn't have enough power to push. Therefore I have to skim the sand surface at 1/2 inches at a time. For the money, I am not expecting too much. But I just wishing for slightly more powerful driving system to make this a outstanding toy

There is a small grey panel on the front of the dump truck that slides open for charging it/installing the battery. You do not have to take the whole thing apart to put in the battery. The instructions show the panel. I can see how someone could miss this, it’s very usual. Great truck.

My son loves it, has some weight to it makes it feel durable. Once I showed him how to operate it, it was a piece of cake for him.

Bought this as a gift for my brother who is a big kid and he loves it! Instantly took it out of the box ready to play and was digging holes immediately! I will say it’s smaller than I expected but that’s on me for not paying attention!

Cool little toy. Poor build quality. We purchased a second one just to see if we got a lemon. The first was received as a gift and one of the tracks stopped working within a day (bulldozer version). The second one worked much better, but the charger fell apart within the first week. Now I’m looking for a replacement charger because my son really does enjoy the toy… just causes a lot of parental headaches keeping it running.
