Brilliant product at a great price
This is brilliant. For the price it's an absolute bargain, compared to a certain similar product it's based on, it's about a third of the price. It's also the cheapest on Amazon by around £5.I am 5ft 9 weighing 79kg with 35cm arms so after discussion with Carlos he advised the XXL and it fits perfectly. My max bench is 150kg so again Carlos advised going for the advance (red) version. On this note, Carlos was really helpful and came back with responses to my questions extremely quickly. It definitely confirmed the decision to buy from Shield Sports.The product arrived promptly and seems very well made. Secure stitching, no loose threads or anything like that. I've only used it a few times so far, so obviously it's a bit early to comment on durability but initial impressions are good.With regards to the amount of assistance it provides, it's not quite as much as I thought it would as only really helps on the bottom two inches or so both going down and up - you are still doing the majority of the work. It just helps get through the sticking point at the bottom of the lift and means you can get further reps out on the heavier weight.We use it after our raw single top set, then going for as many reps as possible on using the sling. Next session we'll use it slightly differently in completing the raw single, then adding 10% and going for another single using the sling. If that goes up easy, then add another 5-10% and try another single. We'll then switch between the two methods every couple of weeks. It's not something you'd use every session as you still want to perform the majority of the lifts raw but it's good to add extras like this in.As mentioned, I've only had it a short time but I feel it'll really help with my bench. Quality is excellent, price is great, service an advice from the seller is amazing - what more could you want!
