The sputnik style is one of my favourite designs. They look interesting in themselves and illuminate well. I fitted this in a room with alcoves and a chimney breast and the evenness of lighting is better than the previous single bulb.The white finish has a pleasant sheen and seems high quality, no signs of any flaking or chipping. Assembly is straightforward and a small spanner is provided. Additional tools you'll need are a screwdriver and drill.I fitted dimmable bulbs and I'm very pleased with the appearance in the room.
