CasioMen Digital Quartz Watch with Resin Strap W96H-1AV

As a total time freak from birth, I love the idea of having the complete calendar to view on my wrist. This watch was cheap as chips, which means I don't need to worry about getting mugged in the street for it, and the soft resin strap makes it lovely and comfortable to wear. (No prior struggling with difficult bracelet links either.) It's equipped with all the most useful functions as far as I'm concerned. OK, so it gains a wee bit more than half a second every million years, but I can live with accuracy to the odd second or so per day. (In my youth you considered yourself fortunate if your watch was accurate to a couple of minutes per day.) Both the day of the week and the actual time of the day are displayed on the screen in large digits that even my questionable eyesight doesn't need to strain itself to make out without the help of spectacles or a magnifying glass. In short, this was a brilliant purchase, and from my past experience of Casio watches fitted with ten-year batteries, I know I can sit back, relax and enjoy wearing this one, hassle-free, for a good long time to come. Alarm a little on the faint side, by the way, but if you own a regular alarm clock to get you out of bed in the morning, that won't trouble you over much. Postscript: The watch is proving to be even more accurate than I surmised. Mine appears to be neither gaining nor losing anything.

I like that the battery should last 10 years. Even if it lasts 5 years I willbe happy with that :-)

Good one like it in my family

If it were Omega priced, it isn't going to score much. But for £16 what's not to like? Styling a personal issue, if you don't like the style then don't buy it. IF you're after a digital watch, it feels a lot more than £16, and unless other's are purposely looking to see how classy your watch is, then it doesn't stick out at all, it could at a glance be a £200 exercise iWatch type thing. So really. Does what is says on the tin. I bought mine for when I'm gardening, tinkering in the garage, doing decorating etc... perfect.
