Obsession (Steel Brothers Saga): Volume 2 (Steel Brothers Saga Book 2) Paperback – 25 Aug. 2016

I really wasn’t going to bother reading this after the 1st book mainly because they are horrendously expensive for a very short story. But it got the better of me so here we are. I love the story but there is far too much in the way of sex scenes and found myself skipping some of them as they actually got quite boring after the first few. Some of the story is quite painful reading ie the child abuse and the flashbacks. I really think the author could so easily have combined the first two books together to make a decent amount of pages for the money. I really want to read the rest of this set but not at £4.99 for a couple of hundred pages. Either the price comes down or I will have to give up on them.

This book had me at the edge of my seat. I love story it’s different and emotional. It’s also realistic and the rawness of it is what makes the story so engaging. It focuses on a very dark theme but it’s still a good book.I hope for a good ending🤞🏾And can someone deal with Larry please 😡

Really enjoyed reading, when you start you don’t want to put it down. It’s the thrill romance and excitement about the friendship and trust between the friends and her family, the falling in love with the brother and then wanting to help him, and the trust she had for him through his troubles

Talon so misunderstood, so at war with himself and there's jade frustrated and loved up, what could possibility go wrong, well everything of course.Talon changes his mind more times than worzel gummage and jade is picking at daisy petals.Will he let her in or will he continue to go all gandolf on her saying "you shall not pass" to protect himself.The flashbacks are however uncomfortable reading and stir anger and disgust. Its a woven story with lots of elements but predictable in places, stumpy for instance yep renamed him so I don't give away spoilers.Its brilliantly written with great characters and dialogue, I didnt want to put it down but had to, to make tea!H has got me involved in these characters now... Book three awaits.

Wow! Helen has done it again. I was totally immersed in the storyline so much that i want the next book NOW!So many secrets/information not being shared between the characters but if they all knew everything then they could help each other so much more! It is exactly like real life where people feel they can't talk about traumatic events. Nobody wants to hear the bad stuff!Being the reader i see both main characters points of view and i get so intrigued by them both and feel like i want to get involved. I feel frustrated at times wanting to shake Talon and say "just tell Jade everything. She can help more than you know!"I have already pre-ordered the next book and will wait very impatiently for it to be released!I would totally recommend this to anybody who wants an immersive reading experience all about love and overcoming past traumatic events in order to move on with life.

Short book disappointing for the price and totally leaves you on a cliffhanger. Wish a box set complete was available as I'm gonna need to re mortgage my house to compete the series

I really enjoyed the first two books and had to buy the third one to get the conclusion to the story. Only you didn't get a conclusion just another cliffhanger. I would really like to know what happens but I never will because these books are an absolute rip off at £4.99 for such short books and i refuse to pay it. This author has gone onto my list of "authors to be avoided".

Loved the series of books. I do however feel as though I've been short changed by the way the book is stretched out and then ending on a cliff hanger! . I'm buying one more then really the story should be at a satisfactory end. This series is way too long for any true author to be benefiting from drawing readers into parting with so much of thier hard earned money!
