I've always used the orange sponge style cleaners on hats but never liked the fact that it seemed to also remove just a fraction of felt the same time. For those that may disagree or argue that point, there's a reason it's recommended you have multiple sponges, for your different color hats. You will see the sponge take on the color of the hat use it on. That ain't dirt!These have worked very well so far on a lower priced ($150) Stetson and a 100x Rand. Bristle brushes are the same color, I gave one of my son for his Stetson for my Rand.As this is a two pack, you can't beat the price. My only recommendation would be that the two packs come with different colored bristles, one for light and one for dark. Even though the brushes don't remove any felt that I can tell, I still prefer to keep my cleaning brushes separated by hat color.

Brush works for my felt hat.

I have a large head’ and was thrilled when I found a black dress hat 21 years ago. It is a high quality felt hat that was far from cheap. Over the years it became scuffed and had my gray hair clinging to it. I bought this brush before I tried to find some place that would professionally clean it. The outcome was far better than I expected. The hat will outlast me 🙂
