This micro spikes performed very well in my recent hike on a iced covered steep mountain trail, its 24 spikes holds the ground on the ice solid and gave me the confident to climb the steep ices. It is sold at a good price and came with the garters and storing bag.

I live in north central Wisconsin and walk two miles every day. Since this winter is so mild, I have been able to takes my walks outdoors. This January, we had a rain storm which then dumped a foot of snow, then turned back to rain so our country road turned to glare ice. After slipping and taking a few falls, I ordered these Ice Cleats. They are beyond my expectations. I do not have to think about every step I take so can enjoy my walks again. I highly recommend.

These grip the ice very well and stay in place just fine. The one issue I have with it is that they don’t stretch nicely for people with bigger shoe sizes or if you are wearing thicker winter boots. I wear a size 14EE and these are a little too tight for me.

I was in need of a set of cleats that would work with my hiking boots. The cleats I already have are much too large for those. Hence, I ordered the set from Eluteng.Very often the thickness of the rubber and the thickness of the cleats themselves can let a set down. This is not the case with these as the set appears well made and strong.In addition to the cleats themselves this set comes with a pair of adjustable snow boot gaiters which according to the listing are waterproof. An especially useful addition to the cleats. The cleats and the gaiters each have their own storage bag and the whole lot fits inside a storage case.It is important when ordering to consider the type of shoe or boot you are going to be using the cleats with. The reason being that this is not a one-size-fits-all set. I ordered a set for hiking boots and as I am a size 10 the chart recommended the "large."The cleats were not easy to put on and it was a bit of a struggle to stretch the rubber over the rear of the hiking boots. It may be that because I am a 10 (or large) and the next size up is 10.5, (extra-large) I was at the top end of the sizing recommendation.Having said that, they were not impossible to put on and once on and the Velcro security strap put in place, they were very solid indeed with no slippage. Walking on the snow and ice outside, I was certainly confident that they were doing a good job.

If you are walking on ice you need this over the boot cleats - it fit both my muck and hunting boot.The case it ok but it does make a nice addition as regular cleats are not fun to carry casually. Not sure if I'll ever use the gators but I'll keep them in the case if I have to use them with regular shoes.I've got a pair of the smaller 'tack' version - it works fine for casual walking but isn't very good for walking on ice when ice fishing. I do like how these crampons have their own carrying case with them — it was packed nicely. They come with gaiters, carrying pouches for the crampons, etc.I do NOT think they are easy to put on. I am an avid hiker, and I struggled to put these on so much that I didn’t even put on the left foot for my boot. If I was on a hike and had to put these on for glacial hikes like we’ve been on, I would’ve taken longer to put these on than to actually hike.Not only were they difficult to put on, but the straps to secure the crampon over the top of the foot were separated. It wouldn’t secure barely at all with the velcro mostly because the sizing is definitely small.I could see if I was wearing them over snow boots that they would be smaller, but I have a size 8 hiking shoe and they fit so weirdly over the boot that it was just awkward and ugly.I did, however, walk over a cardboard box on the way to go outside, and the crampons definitely put holes through the boxes so the grip is there…Just doesn’t go on well or even fit well at all. They are durable and have good attachments, but I just can’t see me bringing these on a hike because they are very difficult to put on and use.

No slipping on snow, ice, and dirt with these. They have strong spikes and chains, with strong rubber that stretches around and grips the boot to keep the cleats in place. I followed the sizing chart and they fit several of our boots well, with only one of them requiring the strap to pull the slack in the chain tight.This is my first pair of Snow Boot Gaiters. These are light weight, super easy to put on, and fit well (even though I put the Velcro part in the back instead of the front like the pictures). However, I typically wear snow pants when I’m out in the ice/snow, so I will likely keep these in the trunk of my car with my extra hat and gloves as part of my winter safety kit.I do like to look at reviews before buying and came across the 3 star one complaining it was super difficult to get on, but you can see from the reviewer’s photos that they did not insert the front of the boot into them correctly. While it takes a little time and finesse to get them on, it’s not that difficult.
