But it is a higher end toy. Hitting the pad feeling is different from actual drums. There of course is not rebound so cannot execute certain techniques. More for practice on the go. Potentially good for beginnersPros:-has an assortment of drums and cymbals-include left and right pedals that are plug and play-comes with a set of drum sticks-ability to plug in headphones and not disturb anyone-option for output to bluetooth speakers-has a couple demo tracks and rhythms to play along with-sound from the drums are pretty true to the actual drums (just with no variation in tone when not hitting the center)-can record a session-can adjust the volume and tempo of tracks-lightweight - easy to roll up and transport-charges via usb-c-good practice matCons:-light surrounding the speakers light up everytime you hit the pads, which is kind of blinding/irritating - wish there was a way to turn this off-need to place mat on a hard surface for best results-there are some 'dead' spots in the drum pads-hitting the pads harder doesn't increase the volume-no memory of last set volume - defaults to a pretty high volume that can catch you off guard-defaults to searching for bluetooth pairing when not plugged in charging-instructions are pretty bad, does explain all the buttons and functions-included usb cable is very short, so will probably want to get a longer one if you want to stay charged and play

Bought this for my 7 year old son for Christmas. It is perfect!! He can take it with him when he goes anywhere (beats (haha) him playing on his tablet or a phone) and he can use his headphones so only he can hear it. He can also play it with his older brother and hook it up to record with his brother on his studio equipment so they can make music together. And it is teching him how to play. It is exactly what I wanted, exactly what was expected, and a great purchase!!

The sound is a little dodgey but it’s not horrible. Little man loves it and it’s nice that it has a head phone jack.

great for kids that tend to be a bit over-activemy wife and i have been struggling to find a hobby for our 6 years old son that he would patiently listen and follow instructionsdrumming seems to be a good idea as he is now finally keeping the beats patiently and learning to record the music he made.The only problem is when using a pair of headphones (overhead gaming headphone or a philips headphones), it gets pretty loud on the default level 5 of volume. and whenever I turn it down, it resets back to 5 whenever i turn the drum pad off and on againthis worries me as i dont want my kid who knows little about ear damage to get some permanent damage to his earsnot a great design if volume keeps resetting

I bought this for my 5 y/o grandson... He's been drumming for about a year on everything from plastic containers to boxes and then pots and pans.... This drummer pad is unbelievable... It's so realistic and his smile when he opened the box.. Priceless! The headset is a must tho lol... He's loving it.....

I liked the product. However the instructions are not complete enough to find all that goes to operate.? No instructions on where power supply goes and what it is attached to? No power adapter? Just cords!

I did it again...bought an electronic item from Amazon and then realized it was made in China.This is the 3rd item that I've had to send back because it didn't work.I do thank Amazon for letting me return items.The bottom 2 drums only worked occasionally. This is definitely not worth 69.00.
