bought this shovel to put in my daughter's car as she went off to college. sturdy built and compact storage.

I keep this shovel in my car for shoveling out of snow in an emergency. It takes up very little room and is very sturdy. Much better than previous collapsible shovels I've bought!

I bought this as a gift and it hasn't been used yet so I'm not sure about durability, but it seems well made. My husband wanted it to keep on his snowmobile for digging out if someone gets stuck. He wanted this one as it is metal but plastic and seemed heavier duty.

Haven't had the opportunity to use yet but appears to be very sturdy and extremely easy to assembly. Only gave it 3 stars because I've not actually used it yet. We live in snow country, better safe than sorry.

I bought this after using an inferior plastic bladed shovel to dig my car out of some packed down snow. I wish I had it for that task, the first time I’ve needed to dig in decades, but now I’ve got a good one if it ever happens again. Materials and construction look decent, why not have it and avoid having to get towed when the ski condo you rented for insane money doesn’t do anything to clear snow in the parking area. Buy it and hope you never need it.

With the winter here in Quebec coming very fast and now living in an appartment I am preparing myself to have to dig out my car. I purchased this to fit in the car trunk and not take up too much room. I love that it folds down and can be extended if need be. It is easy to fold and unfold, it takes a faint push of the buttons for them to fold/unfold which is great when you don't want to fiddle too much with it in -40 degree weather. It is incredibly well made and sturdy and the shovel itself if strong. I have yet to use it with snow, I will probably update this review onxe our first blizzard hits (knowing us it will be anytime now).

Looks solid enough, assembles easily, no snow here, so I haven't had to use it yet. The handle comes off for storage in the supplied sack. I think a good feature would have been to supply it in a snap shut poly case, as this way it will wear through the bag eventually, but this is okay.

Used it the other day to clear some melting granulated snow/ice. Was easy to chop through and push some snow aside so I can park my car. Thing is sturdy and feels great to open up and close back up and takes up little space in the car.
