Gave it a shot in the ultrasonic cleaner with a set of carbs. Carbs came out discolored and no cleaner than they would have with water alone. Won't use it again and will go back to pinesol or simple green for carbs. Wish I could get a refund considering I used so little of it and it worked so horribly. Live and learn

I bought this to use in a ultrasonic cleaner for motorcycle carburetors and use it for other things like tools and related items. If you have to go through several cycles in a ultrasonic cleaner, each cycle will further darken the aluminum. Other metals seem to be OK but the carbs I put in last will have to be blasted and cleaned in the parts washer to look new again. They are extremely dark. It will require some cleaning after removed with a brush to get the stubborn stuff off but that stuff came right off.
