I just got into cheesemaking, and thought with how deep my container is, using a cheese knife was just going to be very uneven when I tried to cut it horizontally. This product worked really well, and super easy; just put in the boiler and circle it around twice.Since the cords are plastic and flexible, I'd recommend storing this in a spot that pressure isn't put on them. I was worried about lil pieces of curds sticking to the plastic cords, but as long as you wash it right away it seemed a breeze to clean. (Which is good, so you don't have to soak the wooden frame for an hour to loosen it up.)Overall seems sturdy and liable to hold up for a long time.

I have been holding off on buying one of these because of the price. With a speciality market like this, they were sold for more. This was a good price, appears to be about 1/2" between wires. this one is somewhat delicate but with care, it should last. It has the classic design and the wires are tight. It is very light weight.

This is a great simple way to cut your curds at different levels in a deep pot. I have used a long knife in the past to cut and it’s it’s hard to make even cuts, especially down at levels. With this cutter you stick in straight into the set curds and move it around in a circle. You can cut straight down with a long knife to complete the process of cutting curd cubes. If you make cheese you should definitely get this!!

I have ordered this three times and it came broken each time. I'm frustrated but need to use this so I used epoxy to stick it together. Each time the box was fine so I assume it was broken when packed.Life goes on but you may want to add food safe epoxy to your order.

looks good, hopefully easy to clean with wooden sides I doubt that it is dishwasher safe.

Zero stars but wouldn’t let me choose zero. Very dissatisfied with this product. First time I’ve used it and did NOT get a clean cut. All this did was make a mess of my cheese curds. Would not recommend this item to anyone.

Makes curd cutting so much easier especially with the smaller cuts. A great special item - great value for money

It took some finagling to get this into the pot of vertically cut curds to cut them horizontally. I managed but evidently need practice. The results were an improvement over diagonal knife cuts producing more uniform curd size. Quality of product is good, but washing is challenging to get curd out of the holes in the wood.
