A piece was missing and company made it right
I would normally knock off a star for a missing piece, but wow! I emailed Springbok with a picture of a missing piece and a damaged one, fortunately on the edge, and they are replacing the whole puzzle. The reason is because they cannot replace just one piece as these are in such odd, wonderful shapes. Other than the off pieces, I love the look and feel of this puzzle. The pieces are large, so makes a little bigger puzzle, and they are very sturdy. I have 2 other Springboks I can't wait to put together. Awesome company.

Beautiful, Challenging puzzle....
I love this one.... This is our latest master piece... It is a,... take me away type picture puzzle... It has everything a girl could want but her dogs....lololol... The slippers are mens so I am assuming the significant other is there somewhere....lololol.... This is a Springbok puzzle, from the oldest puzzle company in the U.S. And you can tell when you work one of these brain teasers,.. that they are proud of their products... And probably come to work and snicker all day long....lololol... This one has a 1000 pieces, and not one piece is like any other... And if that is not challenging enough for you wait there is more..... Some of the pieces fit in like the square shape it is very orderly, and running with the horizontal, and the vertical edges........... Wait for it... And others fit in as if you are doing a circular puzzle.... And there is more...lolol.. And some go in what seems upside down, and some lay completely on their side... There are huge pieces and little pieces, and when you think you have the next piece figured out ... it is really 2 and sometimes 3 pieces.... And if that doesn't mess with challenging you enough... The connecting pieces from one area to the next, look like modern art pieces with colors all over the place not matching anything on the connecting borders.... And if you are the type when it gets towards the end and you sort your pieces by the shapes,... You will need to change your strategy on this one, as there is nothing to sort.....lololol.... We tackled this one by sorting the pieces by individual areas, and colors... Putting together the frame, and then started on individual areas... I don't know if any puzzle will ever measure up to the challenge that this one has.... Good luck if you take the challenge.....lololol.... Now if I could just have a 6 month vacation at this location, and add in spa treatments, a hot tub, and pool.... And I would be all set...lolololol... The only negative thing I can say about this puzzle is that some of the pieces may have not gotten the correct amount of glue on the picture to the base of the puzzle.... As I noticed on about ten pieces that the picture was releasing from the base cardboard....

A bit unusual in some ways, but not a deal breaker
This puzzle surprised me in a few ways compared with others I've done recently from Vermont Christmas Company and Bits and Pieces. This is my first Springbok puzzle; I always do the 1000 piece ones. A few things I noticed immediately: 1) The pieces are quite large. They're so large that at first I thought this must be a 500 piece puzzle, otherwise the finished size would be huge. Indeed, the finished size is larger than I'm used to, and it barely fit on my usual puzzle table. 2) It takes some effort to push the pieces into place, and they go in with a soft, squishy feel rather than a secure "snap." They claim that their pieces are thicker than most, but it seems to me that this squishy feeling wouldn't happen if they were thicker. 3) Pieces sometimes need to be "massaged" into place because the fit and finish isn't naturally tight. Once you do this, everything comes together just fine. 4) The puzzle is a bit easier than others I've done, partly due to the larger pieces making things pretty easy to identify. The colors are vivid and the picture is quite beautiful. Overall, a nice puzzle, just different from many of the others I've been doing. I would not hesitate to buy another puzzle from this company, but I do generally prefer the ones with slightly smaller pieces (and overall size) and a more secure feeling when you are snapping a piece in. The fact that every piece is a different shape is kind of nice and does add to the challenge, even though it seems like it should help!

Gorgeous colors and textures
One of our favorite puzzles! So many interesting details! Challenging but not frustrating. The pieces often didn't interlock, which can be annoying. One piece was missing even though the package arrived securely sealed.

Missing piece
Love Springbok's puzzles. This puzzle is beautiful! Fun, engaging, good size pieces, lovely color, all in all a great way to pass the COVID 19 stay at home time. BUT one piece missing!!!! So frustrating and sad to say, not the first time with Springbok. My puzzles are completed on a puzzle board, in a confined area so no chance of the piece being accidentally lost. Frustrating Update: complained to Springbok about the missing piece and after some correspondence received a new one of The Conservatory. Completed the assembly and no missing pieces. So thank you, Springbok. BTW, the puzzle's pieces were completely different shapes than the previous version and, as always, a complete joy to work.

Challenging puzzle, and great Springbok quality
I enjoyed the larger pieces of this puzzle and I like that all of the pieces are different shapes so you know immediately when you have the correct one. This picture was challenging and fun. I love Springbok quality! I’ve been buying them for over 45 years and have favorites that I do again and again.

The only puzzle I buy is Springbok. They fit together so well and once they’re done I glue and frame them.
