Photographing the Aurora Borealis: How to Shoot the Northern Lights Paperback – April 11, 2017

This is a fabulous book! It is very well written and organized. Andy provides so much helpful information from what to wear, how to care for your camera in extreme cold to how to successfully shoot the Aurora and post process your pictures. I have learned so much by reading and applying his book. I leave next week for Yellowknife Canada to shoot the Aurora (I hope). I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to capture this magic of nature in your own photographs.

A ton of information you will need to get that shot. From lens to shutter speeds. I only wish I had purchased the book sooner so I had more time to prepare for my trip to Iceland.

Excellent book by an excellent photographer. The guidance and easy to understand writing style makes this a must have for anyone investing in that once in a lifetime trip or o photograph the Aurora Borealis. All you need for night shooting, will use as reference for my future night sky exploration. In addition, the preparations for the night out have been very helpful. Will recommend this book if you want to get serious about photography.

A very interesting manual that I will take with me to Norway later this year. A good practical guide with some details on what the aurora are also. One minor suggestion would be include camera settings under each photo.

Very well written and the writer gives great tips and hints on taking better photos. The pictures he has taken and displayed in the book are stunning.

You need to study this with a new or old camera.
