Can the wheel chock be moved for shorter bikes like a scooter? Seems like the bike would not be centered on the carrier otherwise?

There is only one mounting position for the wheel chock. I suppose you could drill it to mount in a different location. However, a scooter is pretty light, and the carrier is rigid, so I don't think it will be an issue if it is slightly off center. It works perfect for a full size dirt bike. Only issue is the tire lugs can hang up on the chock after the bike is tied down. As a safety backup I always strap a tire to the carrier in addition to the recommended tied downs. This also prevents the bike from rolling off the carrier when turning corners. The chock prevents rolling forward, but not backward.
