Bright, Efficient, and Reliable – Perfect Replacement for Incandescent Bulbs!I recently replaced several of my old incandescent bulbs with these LED Light Bulbs (100W Equivalent, 1200 Lumens) and I’m very happy with the upgrade.

Bright, compact, cool
These are very bright bulbs that are an excellent replacement for overhead fixtures that require the small candelabra base. I have some low-profile ceiling fans that take require these and those rooms are finally bright. These bulbs are bright, cool to the touch and small enough to fit in those small fixtures while actually providing enough light. One important note: the higher-wattage versions are also physically bigger because the extra output comes from having more LEDs in the array. The 12 watt version I bought have 6x LEDs in the row and the 16 watt version have 8x LEDs in the row, so are actually quite a bit bigger and are bigger than a standard decorative bulb. If you have tight space in your fixture, they may not fit. Unless you know for sure that you need the higher-output version, I recommend the 12 watt variant because those are pretty close to the standard decorative bulb size. The only downside to these is that they're not pretty and don't look like a traditional bulb. In an open fixture, they may stand out as unusual but that isn't meaningful considering how bright and effective they are.

I really like these
I've spent far too much time and money trying to get rooms with fan lights bright enough with the new LED bulbs. The real problem is that the old fan fixtures had 4 or even 5 bulbs in them that lit a room up very well. The new fan fixtures only have 2 or 3 bulbs. I've tried everything - color, lumens, watts. This is what I have learned. 3000K is the best color. This is basically the color we used to get with the old incandescent bulbs. 2700K is yellow, anything over 5000k makes you think that aliens have come to abduct you. Lumens are also important. An old fan light fixture with 5 - 60 watt bulbs had approximately 4250 Lumens. The new fan fixtures come with only 2 or 3 bulbs. These bulbs are 1200 lumens each, but still 3600 lumens is not the same as 4250. A 2 bulb fixture only gives you max 2400 lumens which is just over half what the old fan fixture gave. I fear the new reality is that you just need more lamps in a room if you want to have good lighting. But for bulbs for a fan fixture - these are the best. They are the equivalent of a 100 watt bulb. Which is the most you can get. We didn't use 100 watts in overhead fixtures in incandescent bulbs, but of course, our overhead fixtures had 4 or 5 bulbs. With only 2 or 3 bulbs, you have to get as many lumens as you can and these bulbs are the highest you can get. They are 3000 K which is bright but not area 51 bright. Note to manufactures of light fixtures. We don't want just enough light so that we don't bump into large pieces of furniture. We want enough light so we can find an earring back on the floor. We need more bulbs! But as long as you are stuck with only 3 bulbs ( or heaven forbid only 2), these LEDs are really quite good.

Very nice, but...
I like the futuristic "insect eye" style and the warm, bright light. I use the bulbs in a bathroom, so I didn't want a stark white daylight color temperature. The bulb candelabra bases are a little short - about 1/16 inch too short to touch the center contact in my light fixture. So I had to modify the fixture to get the bulbs to make contact and light up.

Very bright
These bulbs are great. They are very bright. I put one in my night light in my bathroom. I don't even need to turn on my overhead light sometines.

Brightest bulb with E12 base I can find
The two light fixtures I have use 4 each and I've struggled to find bulbs with enough brightness for our living room. Finally! These (3000k) are bright enough and although less compact to some that I have tried, seem like they will stay cooler with the larger surface area. Bulbs seems to burn out more often in these fixtures (and they are a pain to get to) so I am hopeful that they will go for the expected 10 year life. Very happy with these so far.

Not very bright
I have a typical ceiling fan/light fixtures with the opaque shade over the lights. One of my bulbs died so I needed a replacement. I got these because I want maximum light and candelabra bulbs generally have less lumens than standard base LED bulbs. This has high lumens (1200), but 3 of these bulbs is MUCH dimmer than just 2 of my old 1080 lumens light bulbs. I thought the 360 degree lights would help but nope. They also get much hotter than regular LED bulbs. Not a huge fan. But they don't flicker, so that's a positive.

Love the brightness
These worked great. Our ceiling fan takes this size, and I really wanted bright lights.
