When the urge hits, the funds should change out their fluorescent ceiling lights.These are a good replacement. They're easy to install and they provide a variety of light settings so that you can have warm light or cool light depending on what you want.

Great light with great adjustability, however they are NOT dimmable in the sense that a Dimmer switch can be used, they are only adjustable for wattage output, 30-40-50 and color temperature. I went nuts trying different wall with dimmers before I realized this. Still love them though.

I bought the 4 pack of lights. They were adequately packed and no broken parts. Installation hardware includes bolts for mounting to the junction box, Plastic anchor inserts with screws and Hollow Wall type screws. I think the bolts for the junction box should have come with flat washers as the bolt heads barely catch the metal.Installation was easy, but the instruction for the junction box made no sense. The cutouts would not allow a 90 degree twist with both bolts mounted. Not physically possible. This did allow me to position the fixture and use plastic anchor.screws at the ends. The fixture itself was pretty lightweight and somewhat flimsy, shouldn't matter unless you want bang it about or hang stuff from it.The lights were about 20 percent brighter than the two bulb fluorescent fixtures they replaced. The light diffused fairly well over a wide area. The lights came on instantly and there was no hum or buzz like I have read about other lights. There is no center cover for the wire inputs. No problem if you are putting this in a shop or garage, but you would want something a little nicer for inside the home. This is good for the price.

Based on some of the previous reviews, I was a little little concerned about ordering these, but I shopped around at my local home improvement stores and could not find a price to compete with these. I ordered the 4 pack and they came well packed and intact. Each unit had the ends wrapped in cardboard, the lens was laid upside down and a strip of styrofoam on top and the based unit was on top of that. The 4 units were secured together with a cardboard strip. The exterior box was a little beat up by the carrier, but the contents were fine.I ordered these to replace some standard 4 foot fluorescent fixtures and I feel they give off about the same amount of light. Because there is no ballast or light bulbs, the units are much lighter. The base unit comes drilled for multiple mounting options and mounting hardware and wire nuts were included. They are wired in the standard 3 wire configuration and I have to believe even the most inexperienced person would have no problem making the connections.If I had to find something to knock, I would like the lens to be about 1/16” longer. That extra length would make the lens fit a little better under the end caps, but you cannot tell the difference unless you are very close to the unit.Overall I am very pleased with the quality and price.

We replaced our storage room light fixtures with these. The old fixtures were four old HEAVY fixtures that used four 48" florescent tubes that cost $37.47 for a four pack here on Amazon. So $149.88 plus tax to replace them all. And, of course, we had to replace them periodically.We bought these fixtures for $117.96 all-in delivered to our doorstep. They're LED so there are no tubes to replace. They do not have two ballast packs so they are a LOT lighter. They will definitely outlive me. And, as infrequently as they are used in the store room they will possibly outlive the next homeowner.Installation was very easy. There are 1" punch-outs in the fixtures that exactly aligned with the wall plugs from the old fixtures (ceiling mounted to concrete). The plugs don't have to support nearly as much weight either. The wires in the fixtures were already tinned and we used Wago lever wire connectors instead of wire nuts. Wiring up could not have been much easier. White-to-white, black-to-black and ground. There are wire tie loops along the top of these fixtures that made securing the wires in a nice bundle as easy as could be.We did not measure the light with a light meter for comparison but the light is easily as bright as it was with the old four tube fixtures. We could not be happier with the product. Highly recommended.

The media could not be loaded. Really enjoy these lights. They are efficient easy to install and light up the space really well. They look really nice too in a partially finished basement.

Update: May 13, 2023Well, I have one that is starting to flicker, they are in closets and not used all that much - I'd say maybe less than 300 hours since I purchased. Made in China - 'nuf said.Original April, 2021Arrived today. Will install over the weekend with photos of current lighting covrerage and then this light.One thing I'm disappointment with is the lens, it's not smooth and doesn't wrap around the ends which would be more attractive. And yes, I was aware when I ordered, and I understand these are designed to be be daisy-chained. It was difficult to find a light fixture like this (will be used in closets to replace 12 year old round florescent fixtures) with a nicer cover at a decent price. The price for a 4-pack of these is awesome. Since they'll be used in closets the cover/lens is a minor ding.The ceiling anchors are the metal expanding type that look like they would hold a 20 pound fixture. No worries at all!
