Ray-Ban RB3025 Classic Aviator Sunglasses

My Ray-Ban 3025 Aviator sunglasses arrived today, and I'm completely satisfied. What I received was undoubtably the REAL Ray-Ban product: packaged in a Ray-Ban box with sticker on the end including the 'Made in Italy' statement and including the Ray-Ban sunglasses case, a small 'manufacturer's information note' paper that is written in no less than 24 languages (!!!) - and I'm not joking (I counted). Plus a small marketing brochure 'The Icons' telling the story of Ray-Ban, and finally a lens cleaning cloth with the Ray-Ban logo. The sunglasses themselves have the Ray-Ban logo etched on the right lens prominently, and very subtly etched on the left lens.So, that's the package. It's as pictured here, and I start with that description because there is always going to be some trepidation at buying something like this online. Will you get The Real Deal, or a cheap knock-off? Well, I purchased mine from Amazon, not from a third-party seller, to reduce that risk, and I am not disappointed.Now to the sunglasses themselves. I think that there are a few things to know, for someone considering Ray-Ban sunglasses:- they come in a very wide variety of frame sizes, lens tints and colors, polarized and non-polarized, and with different frame colors and finishes. If you are not already familiar with these sunglasses and know what you want, then my recommendation is that you first go to the Ray-Ban website and familiarize yourself with those variations, especially if you think that you will want something other than the Traditional Gold Frame, Green Lens sunglass. Once at the Ray-Ban website, select 'customize' at the top, and you'll find yourself on a page where you have the full ability to vary the choices I've summarized below. These variations can all be found on Amazon although navigating through all of the sellers and product pages on Amazon that list the different variations of these sunglasses can be very time consuming and confusing.- For the 3025 Aviator style, the following variations are available:--- There are no less than 35 choices of lenses - 'classic', 'legends', 'gradient', 'mirrored and flash', and 'polarized'--- There are 8 variations in frame color - basic colors of gold and matte gold, and 'trendy' colors of black and 5 others--- There are 5 choices of temple tips (the end of the earpiece) - black or white as basic choices, and brown, beige or transparent also available--- There are a three different sizes available for the Ray-Ban Large Aviator RB3025. THIS IS IMPORTANT:----------- 58 14 135: the basic standard size is 58 mm lens diameter, 14 mm bridge width, with temple length 135 mm----------- 55 14 135: slightly smaller lens size, with same bridge width and temple length----------- 62 14 140: larger lens size and temple length--- There are also further variations to the Aviator sunglass:----------- Large Aviator II RB3026: only available as 62 14 140----------- Small Aviator RB3044: only available as 52 14 135----------- Folding Aviator RB3479: available in 55 14 140 and 58 14 145----------- Outdoorsman II RB3029 (includes 'brow bar' or 'sweat bar'): available in 62 14 140----------- Outdoorsman RB3030 (includes ''brow bar' or 'sweat bar' plus cable temples): available in 58 14 160----------- Outdoorsman II Rainbow RB3407 (with 'brow bar' in pink and possibly other color variations): available in 55 14 135 and 58 14 135----------- Outdoorsman II Craft RB3422Q (with 'brow bar' and temple pads in genuine hand stitched deer leather): available in 58 14 135----------- Shooter RB3138 (with 'brow bar' or 'sweat bar' and a small circle just below the brow bar. Also the lenses are placed closer together than other Aviator models): available in 58 09 135- once you have figured out what you want, then the complexity is reduced and it's simply a matter of determining which seller is offering the best price. My own choice was to purchase from Amazon, not from a third-party seller, and I actually ordered two different pairs of sunglasses because I wanted to try both the polarized and non-polarized lenses, and the choices I found also had some variation in frame color that I thought would be worth checking out. I therefore purchased for myself, from Amazon, the following two pairs:-  Ray-Ban Men's Aviator Large Metal Sunglasses, RB3025, 58mm, polarized lens, grey frame, 135 mm temple -  Ray-Ban Men's Aviator Large Metal Non-Polarized Sunglasses, RB3025, 58mm, gold frame, 135 mm temple The quality of these sunglasses is apparent from the first moment when you remove them from the case. The frames are very high quality, and the gold frame in particular is finished to a high polish and looks absolutely fabulous. The gray frame is less distinctive but equally handsome. I haven't used them in the sunlight for long enough yet to be able to know the difference between the polarized and non-polarized lenses, but my expectation is that the polarized lenses will be my choice for the brightest days and outdoor use, particularly occasions such as on the water. Both glasses provide a good degree of sun protection without darkening my vision overmuch. And both provide the UV protection that my eye doctor told me to get.I think that some adjustment is going to be necessary, to the nose pieces as well as the temples, to get these to fit exactly right. I'll take them to one of the local optometrist shops and see if I can get them to help with that, so that they are adjusted correctly.Ray-Ban 3025 Aviator. I'm pleased with my choice.

The case leather tore right at the snap after 5 months, it's a bummer because I carry the case everywhere the glasses go. Materials and quality of the glasses are solid the case is inccifficient for $200 pair of glasses.

WOW. I am IN LOVE with these fabulous, classic Ray-Ban aviators, by far my favorite sunglass style.The reason I never owned a real pair is because the original size was too big for my female face and the juniors size was too small. Well, Ray-Ban finally made a middle size, 58mm, that’s absolutely perfect for a woman’s face.These are so incredibly flattering. The gunmetal frame with dark G15 lenses (they look black to people looking at you) gives these shades a very edgy, cool vibe. I wear black every day, so these are right up my alley.I really like the darkness and sun-blocking ability of the G15 lenses. I live in Arizona and have chronic migraines that can be triggered simply by exposure to bright sunlight. Having very dark sunglasses is a must for daytime driving, due to glare. These are super comfortable for all-day wear.The difference in quality is profound between these glasses, made in Italy, and the 6 pairs of $12 aviators in many colors that I bought on Amazon. There is no comparison, whatsoever. The country that made the $12 glasses is known for cheap products and it shows. Every thing I’ve ever purchased that was made it Italy is top notch & lasts forever.Most definitely, you get what you pay for. The lens quality and construction are superb.Invest in at least one pair of exceptional sunglasses. It’s worth it. You won’t be disappointed if you choose Ray-Ban.To fit my slender nose, I very gently adjusted the nose pieces, by bending them slightly inward. I also very gently curved the arms in a smidge so the glasses don’t move if I look straight down. Easy adjustments.Get these glasses! I got them on sale for about $125 yesterday & they’re $150 today. If you see them for $135 or less, grab them on the spot!

No hay que decir mucho del modelo insignia de la marca Ray Ban, las Aviator. Simplemente un complemento que no pasa de moda.Ahora bien, ¿sabrías reconocer si son auténticas? (Las vendidas por Amazon lo son, estad tranquilos). Aquí os dejo unos consejos para comprobar su autenticidad:- QUIÉN LOS FABRICA, BAUSCH & LOMB USA O LUXOTTICA ITALIA?Hasta el año 1998 fueron fabricados por Bausch & Lomb USA, todos los Ray Ban posteriores a esa fecha son fabricados por Luxottica Italia. Cualquier Ray Ban nuevo que tenga impreso o grabado Baush & Lomb o B&L en algún sitio es una réplica.- EMBALAJE Y FUNDAMira la caja en la cual vienen tus Ray-Ban. Debería tener un código de barras en una pegatina, en ella se incluye el número de serie del fabricante, distribuidor y los detalles, la lente y el tipo de montura, y el número de modelo de tu estilo específico de gafas de sol. Si esta etiqueta no está presente, las gafas de sol de esa caja probablemente sean falsas. Además desde hace poco la etiqueta incluye un código QR para saber si las gafas Ray Ban son auténticas. Nunca llevarán ninguna etiqueta de plástico colgando que supuestamente asegura su autenticidad. Unas Ray Ban genuinas no traen absolutamente nada colgando, ni chapita de autenticidad ni nada por el estilo. Inspecciona el estuche. Debe haber un logo de oro grabado, sin pintar, en el estuche que dice "Luxottica". Si el logotipo está pintado o no aparece, es probable que las gafas de sol no sean auténticas. También fíjate en el estuche de la gafas Ray Ban ya que el botón que cierra el estuche debe llevar grabado el logotipo de Ray Ban.- ETIQUETASUnas auténticas gafas Ray Ban solo traerán etiquetas cuando se traten de lentes G15 o B15, verdes o marrónes respectivamente o lentes polarizados. El resto de los Ray Ban con lentes, grises, marrones degrade, rosas, azules, espejados, etc. no traen etiquetas.Entonces, tal como se ve en la foto de la funda marrón, un lente G15 o B15 tendrá una etiqueta dorada y negra, con la mención de lente; y unos lentes polarizados tendrán indistintamente una etiqueta redonda con una P o una cuadrada, con la inscripción POLARIZED. Además de tratarse de unos Ray Ban Polarizados, en el lente derecho tendrá una P al lado del logo Ray Ban. Si tienen una etiqueta cuadrada sin ser polarizados son réplicas.- GRABADO LÁSERUnos Ray Ban genuinos tiene la sigla RB grabada sobre la lente izquierda. Al mirarlo de cerca el trazo se ve irregular y además se siente al tacto.En una réplica, directamente no tiene el grabado laser o se ve a simple vista la sigla RB, como una marca de agua, con un trazado suave y no puede sentirse al tacto.- SOBREPUENTEUnos Ray Ban Aviators originales vienen con Ray Ban y el talle grabado en la cara interna del sobrepuente (por ejemplo RAY BAN 58◘14). Si no lo tienen o esta grabado en la cara externa, o estando grabado en la cara interna no dice lo que se menciona, es una réplica.- BRAZOSUnos genuinos Ray Ban tendrán pintado en el brazo derecho Ray Ban Made in Italy R CE en el caso de los Aviators, y en el caso de los Wayfarer, en general , el tipo de Wayfarer Hand Made in Italy CE. Además sin son gafas polarizadas a continuación dira Polarized.En el brazo izquierdo tendrán pintado el código del modelo, la descripción, el código de color, el talle y el tipo de lente. Los wayfarer no tendrán la descripción en este brazo ya que la poseen en el otro.En una réplica, a lo sumo tendrá grabado el código del modelo.Para el caso de los Aviators, adicionalmente podemos examinar la forma de los brazos, unos Ray Ban originales tendrán en la unión entre el brazo y el marco una forma redondeada, similar a un hueso, mientras que en una réplica en general será cuadrada. Finalmente los cauchos en unos lentes Ray Ban genuinos tendrán la punta curvada hacia afuera del brazo, mientras que en una réplica serán planos.- ¿ALGO MÁS?Unas Aviators genuinas vienen con el librito THE ICONS, mientras que unas Wayfarer originales traerán el librito COLORIZE. Que no te digan que esta serie no lo trae, que es la serie Never Hide, bla bla bla... todos los traen. Si no traen los libritos, ya sabes: REPLICA.Espero que os sea de ayuda para saber si las Ray Ban que habéis comprado son originales.

È passato diverso tempo dall’acquisto di un occhiale da sole Ray-Ban. Ero infatti rimasto deluso dall’ultimo paio di occhiali in quanto la qualità della lente non era neppure lontanamente paragonabile a quelle che hanno reso celebre questo marchio. Le lenti infatti peggioravano la qualità visiva: avete presente quando la nitidezza diminuisce mentre guardate qualcosa in lontananza attraverso una vetrata sporca? Ecco, la sensazione era esattamente questa ed era stata la causa del mio allontanamento da questo brand. In pratica anche mentre guidavo non ero in grado di vedere perfettamente i dettagli come il numero di una targa in lontananza che ad occhio nudo distinguevo invece perfettamente.È stata quindi con molta diffidenza che ho preso la decisione di riacquistare un paio di Ray-Ban dopo averli provati in negozio. Non essendo disponibile la taglia M (ho un viso abbastanza magro) ho fatto una ricerca su Amazon e con mia gradita sorpresa ho trovato anche un prezzo nettamente più conveniente.Nulla a che vedere con la precedente esperienza: le lenti degradanti azzurre non sono solamente molto cool, sono anche qualitativamente molto buone e gli indosso sempre con piacere.Promossi a pieni voti!

Acquistati per regalo. Come da descrizione. Arrivano con custodia. Il pacco è arrivato danneggiato perché molto più grande rispetto al contenuto ma per fortuna gli occhiali erano intatti.
