Updating my review....this was a nice, fast, responsive computer. It has touchscreen and voice command. It plays video fast, no lag. Lots of storage. Great sound as far as laptops go. Overall was very pleased with this computer. BUT...lately the ghost touch is not working properly. It is constantly clicking in the lower left corner and unable to do anything on this computer you must do a hard shutdown and hope it quits. Sending in for warranty and hope it's covered.

It is the slowest boot ever. The CPU is always at 100% I have to leave it on all of the time to be able to use it. I talked to a computer tech and he told me to replace the hard drive because new computers come with useless hard drives. I shouldn't have to with a new machine. I bought this brand because I use the gamer version at work and it is super fast and super amazing. I thought, because I needed a less flashy unit at home, this would be great and the color was gorgeous. I'm so disappointed. I feel like I should have just burned my money instead.

At first I was worried this might not be the best option because I really don't need touch screen ability and thought that might degrade the display visibility. It doesn't. After applying updates to Windows and pruning out the added junk and tweaking Windows and defragmenting, it performs pretty well. The other thing I really like about this is that it's very light weight. And the red is nice touch. Touchpad is just sensitive enough for my heavy fingers. Plenty of memory to even run Photoshop on multiple images. So far so good.

This laptop is a disappointment. The specs sound good on it but it's hard disk usage was at 100% out of the box which made it slow. The second time I booted the laptop, the screen remained black and did not load the OS. I had to restore the laptop and then made sure that updates were installed to prevent future issues. Then I disabled startup services and uninstalled unnecessary programs, and the disk usage was still at 100%. The laptop was still slow at starting up and running applications. I contacted PriceByter and they told me that Windows 10 is known for having issues, and that I will have to restore the laptop to a previous state. Also since the complaint is about the laptop's performance, I cannot return it. I have a computer with Windows 10 fully updated and it's disk usage sits at 1% most of the time even with applications running.

Very light system, decent. my major grouse is the touch screen failed barely 1 month after use!. It almost rendered the laptop unusable, till i learnt how to disable the touchscreen, though it comes up again after any major update. THE lower left edge of the screen appears to be pressing in against itself, thus rendering the laptop unusable.apart from that, a good laptop, dont know if i am still under waranty

It has reasonable price and it was fast delivered!

Not happy with this purchase. I guess you get what you pay for, but this computer was just not a good choice. The touch screen lasted less than a week before I had to disable it because it got "stuck". That was a task in itself.Now, not even two months old, and the touch pad has stopped responding completely.So there it sits. Useless to me. Spend more money, get a real computer. My Gateway is almost 20 years old and still functions better than this brand new Asus!

The media could not be loaded.  I had so much trouble with ghost touch on the screen. The screen is pressing ("always clicking") on the lower left corner. It was close to impossible to get the computer going.
