For people who haven't bought this product but are interested in the health reasons behind switching to a natural deodrant, I highly recommend this product. Both my husband and I use it. The ingredients are organic and non toxic to use and environmently friendly, along with the cardboard container. Such a delight from the typical plastic containers most other deodorants come in. Oh and the scent is from essential oils not synthetic fragrance. I asked the company direct. You can too if in any doubt. There is also the option to buy unscented and for sensitive skin. It works great as a deodorant. Give it a try. Keep making this product Gaia Guy.

The scent is great, and I was so excited to use this deodorant. However, it arrived all melted. The tube is all greasy now, and I can't use the tube to apply the deodorant as supposed to. I would have to use my fingers, and I don't want to do that. I even put it in the fridge to harden it up. It hardened up, but the tube is all messed up, and the deodorant hardened all uneven. All I wanted to do was ask for a replacement, but Amazon says this item can't be returned. It sure would be nice to get a replacement since this item didn't come in the condition it should've and is now unusable. Very disappointed!

Unfortunately, Kaolin Clay contains aluminum. A neurotoxin. Common in all mainstream deodorants.Hydrous aluminum phyllosilicate (Al2Si2O5 (OH) 4Chemically bonded to the silicate fortunately. I am unaware of how this gets absorbed and transported through our bloodstream.Better than stand alone aluminum but still, I was hoping for aluminum-free working products. I gave three stars because my understanding is that since it is bound to Silica, there should be almost no transportation of stand-alone aluminum which is stored in the brain and tissues causing damage.Pros:Smells nice, I used my finger to apply like a face cream would be.Love the packaging, looks plastic free. Healthy organic oils.

I try to be a socially + environmentally conscious shopper. This can be difficult when it comes to deodorant as my 5ft tall self just happens to be endowed with armpits that are prone to sweating (and smelling) like that of a 6'8 linebacker. This has led to an ethical dilemma for me, because as much as I want to buy natural, eco-friendly deodorants, the majority of the time they just don't get the job done like Old Spice or some clinical strength stuff. I finally discovered this stuff though, and it really is the holy grail for me.I would say the biggest downside of this product is that it starts to melt in warm rooms, which means it can be very messy when applying. To combat this, either A) just sweep your finger across the top and then apply like a balm/lotion or B) store it in the refrigerator and apply like normal deodorant (this is my method of choice). With this being said, the FANTASTIC smell and efficacy of the product outweigh this minor inconvenience. Best natural deodorant I have tried to date!

Back story is that I'm looking for a replacement for my plastic packaged Old Spice Classic. First, the product worked well. I had no problem with the tube and it went on smoothly. But... The scent (I got the Vanilla Lavender) was all vanilla. It smelled like cake frosting. The smell did last all day long but the product isn't so much a de-odorant as an odor masker. Underneath, the skin bacteria were happily pumping out their stuff which you found out after a shower. It's almost impossible to shower off. Really. Dr. Bronner's wouldn't get it off. It just didn't work for me.So, try it. For me it was a no-go after using it for a week. Your results may be different.

This product smells great but it does nothing for preventing stinky armpits

Beautiful packaging and scent... However its pointless, it just mixed with the smell of sweat after just an hour and doesn't smell nice at all. Waste of money honestly. So disappointing.

I absolutely LOVE the Vanilla Scent!! And there is SO much product!!..Learning curve for me..how to get the product on me! Mine did not push up from bottom 😔so I ended up peeling the cardboard back...quite a mess.But I wasn't giving up..I LOVE THE STUFF..so dug it out! Package not so much..maybe it's just me.
