Why Dyson only has a light on one of the heads I’ll never understand. Luckily other third party companies have picked up the dissatisfaction of Dyson customers and created this product. It has adhesive and sticks to the side of the carpet head. It works extremely well. Lights up the floor to see all the dust and dirt.The only caveat is the battery it takes. It does take a really weird size battery that isn’t expensive just hard to know what type the cell is. I think it’s an A23. Not 100% sure though. The battery is strong and we’re still on the original battery it came with.Highly recommend getting this for your Dyson.Bonus: you can turn it on hands free by just tapping the switch against your foot or a wall / etc to turn it on and off.Thanks for reading my review take care !

I’ve always been jealous of the vacuums that have this built in, but my older model Dyson still works perfectly so I can’t justify replacing it. This little add-on light is a nice workaround. It’s only helpful when it’s dark, but it is really useful! It shows dust and dirt really well.

I was horrified by the mess in my house that this light showed me. Since using it I don't spend less time vacuuming but I definitely do a better job and immediately noticed MUCH less dust in the house in general. It also made it clear to me that my vacuum wasn't working as well as it should, which I fixed by cleaning the filter.Like other reviewers experienced, the sticking pad wasn't great and it popped off after two uses. A drop of Gorilla glue solved that. It's also obviously designed for right handed people who keep the vacuum on their right side and zip under corners on the right. For us southpaw we're bumping the thing constantly, making it turn off.But these minor inconveniences are NOTHING compared to the benefits. I am really glad I bought this thing. My home is so much cleaner even though we have two high shed dogs.Gotcha, sneaky hair clump.
