Not for me on the mark.
I knew it would be small but this is small and I feel a little flimsy. Buy a bigger one is my suggestion.

As a precision tool it is completely useless. The hole cut through the face plate is ...
I know this is a low cost item but it is so poorly made that were it not for the sharp needle point it's difficult to believe its not a child's toy. As a precision tool it is completely useless.The hole cut through the face plate is not square and its sides are chamfered. The bar holding the marker needle is at least 1.5mm smaller than the hole in the face plate across both dimensions. Can't be bothered to send it back but I will transfer the marker needle to my grandfather's old gauge which is at least 75 years old and still a far better tool. The photos say it all.

Aww, it's a wee baby. It's actually perfect for small projects. I used it on sheet plastic and it works fine, very easy to use.
