Fun Star Wars motivational book
This is a fun motivational book with plenty of quotes from the Star Wars universe. It's a hard back book from DK which is officially licensed from Disney and has 72 pages of tips and advice on being a better parent/mentor. It doesn't take itself too seriously which is all part of this books charm. It's a book you can read at your leisure, dropping in and out whenever you have 5 minutes to spare. The presentation is excellent and the pages are designed nicely with plenty of official images, quotes and motivation text. It's split up into 5 categories (Mentoring, Encouragement, Lessons Learnt, Trust & Acceptance) which are all quite interesting. It would make a nice little gift for any Star Wars fan, especially if they're a new parent or team leader. I've enjoyed reading it and would recommend it.

Slightly Comical Tips book for Star Wars Fans
Wasn't sure what to expect with this book at all especially as I don't have kids. That said, who doesn't like Star Wars! Alongside the fact I at times manage a team of people I thought I'd give it a read and see what it can offer. It's good fun! Lots of tips for mentoring and being positive all within the world and theme of Star Wars - and each tip linked to the movies in one way or another!

Not convinced
This book has some good advice, some I'm not so sure about. The titles in the more to the point than the explanations. To be honest, I didn't find them convincing. For example, there's one on Lessons Learnt section, it says:Keep them focused"Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn is one of the Order's finest teachers. On a mission, his Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi is concerned about a distant threat he senses, but Qui-Gon is quick to reorient nis Padawan's attention to ensure their success in what they're doing right now. Don't be afraid to be forthright with those around you. There's a time for praise and a time for critique in a relationship between a young person and someone they look up to. If you see your Padawan drifting away from what they should be focusing on, take a moment to set their concentration back on track".The words don't relate to each other. One moment he's saying use your instincts, then overcome self-doubt, then don't overthink, then put negative thoughts etc. The explanations are not interrelated in my view.Don't get me wrong, there's loads of good advice here though. It's divided into 5 sections:🦹♂️Mentoring🦹♂️Encouragement🦹♂️Lessons Learnt🦹♂️Trust🦹♂️Acceptance
