This puzzle is great for learning the alphabet. It is much better than simply placing letters in wooden molds. However, it is bit more challenging than expected but I think will grow with the child. My grandson just turned 3 and is just at the very beginning og learning the letters. I pulled out a few pieces and helped him build a few letters. Think it will be very good but may have to wait a few months.

Bought these for my 3 year old to help with her fine motor skills. Images on the letters are very colorful. Thick and sturdy. Only downfall was that my little one likes to put them in her mouth. Cardboard when wet sponges up then becomes hard to piece together. Other than that, she really enjoys them. I separated puzzle piece letters in sandwich bags to avoid being overwhelmed with all of the puzzle pieces. Three year old loves them!

Very colorful. Each letter/number is nicely printed on the puzzle. Love that they have so many pictures of things that go with the letter/number. Took kids (ages3, early 4s) awhile to get the hang of it going in a circle, but they love them. I made it so that the middle pieces with the letter/number can't be taken apart, which works well for my kiddoes at school. I am a magnet freak, and I may magnetize the pieces so there is the option of using them on a white board for another teaching tool/group activity. Would definitely buy again.

Love these puzzle for kinder. I have mixed them up into small containers to make it trickier. I love the number ones cause they have subitizing and numbers. Plus kiddos love them!!

There's not wood as discribed don't fall for it, it breaks easily.
