Works perfect very strong magnet

It arrived on time well packed. Only a bolt had to be screwed in to get it fully assembled. All my tools have iron in them, so tightening the bolt was tricky and enjoyed the challenge. The magnet is ceramic (which is brittle and similar to the one we have on our fridges) and heavier than one would expect. It has enough power to pick up loose iron materials but not get attached iron in the surrounding which are fixed. More powerful magnet will make it harder to use this pickup magnetic tool without having to detach it whenever it gets attached to iron present in the surrounding. The wand is not sturdy or thick enough for the weight of the magnet. So it needs to be handled with care, banging against hard surface will brake the wand from the base. Come to think of it, you can build this tool by buying magnet separetly and use broken sweeper handle lying around as a wand. I haven't tried it but I can see it is doable.

I LOVE this tool!.. I used it to pick up all the staples that were left on the ground after screening in my front porch and also after building a compost bin with wood and chicken wire. This tool is super easy to use.. it functions amazingly and picks up even the tiniest pieces of metal, and also heavier things like screws and whatnot.. and it holds a LOT!.. It doesn’t bend, and was super easy to put together.

It’s a small, light weight tool with a powerful magnetic pull. it gets the job done and the price is affordable. The material appears to be durable. I really like this magnetic telescope.

I needed a low cost magnet to run through the ashes of my burnpile to find unburned screws, nails, hinges, etc. This did the job quite nicely. It isn't overly large so I had to run through the pile multiple times but the magnet has good strength and it is a very good value for the money. I like that the telesoping handle doesn't require much space in my garage.

Works ok for small items

After having a roof put on, this was suggested by a friend to pick up nails that were dropped.I couldn't believe how many! Half a bucket full. Saved me a trip to the vets!

Amazing. Picked up most of the building screws and scraps left on the ground and my sewing pins as well Love it

Used this to clean up about 300 nails out of the grass, worked like a charm. Love how the handle is telescopic so makes it easy to store.

The Magnet is very strong, terlescopic handle is not strong enough broke with just the weight of the magnet attached to it, now have to return the unit to get a refund Amazon cannot replace the unit. Do not bother with this item

Used it for first time and it got broken.cant find option to return.
