I don't know how to use the direction-indication feature. I'll try to look it up on the net and hope for the best. Otherwise, I'm sure it'll be very useful for other situations. THE biggest reason I purchased this item is I was wanting the capability to open cans in any situation. The added features compliment the versatility and you can't beat the price/value, and stainless steel is always a plus.

I actually used these for baby shower gift bags. I didnt want to make typical bags, I wanted things that were actually meaningful and useful. I made some feminine ones for the women in our life, more masculine ones for the men, and fun ones for the kids. I used these for the mens bags and they all loved them! Of course these are truly useful for anyone, crowd pleaser for sure.
