I have a Lear vaulted camper top for my F150, and I had a hard time trying to find the actual specs for my struts, but I took a chance and I ordered these and they fit perfect. They were easy to install and they have worked great.

Took a chance on these and they worked out perfectly for the deck lid on a 99 Prowler. Length, sockets and strength are perfect. Could pass for OEM.

My camper shell window would not stay up in temperatures below 35°F, so was a pain when trying to load things into the truck bed. So these struts were very easy to replace and work great in any weather. These struts take quite a bit heavier force to close than my previous ones (when new), so I am extremely happy with these. Great price, easy to install, and work great too.

I ordered these using the interchange number printed on my worn out OEM struts. You have to play with them a bit to get the stud ball into the socket by slightly prying up on the clip to expand it. I'm disappointed these new struts do not have the interchange number printed on them should I need to replace again. They work great on day one. Time will tell . . . The OEM struts lasted 19 years.

What I needed to replace the gas strut on my mortising machine was a 12 inch 24 pound gas strut with a8 mm ball stud. WHICH WAS WHAT NEEDED REPLACING. Instead I had to remove the 8 mm ball studs ND ORDER 10 MM BALL STUDS because I could not fine any 8 mm ball stud gas struts. Not only did I have to order the 10 mm ball studs I also had to buy a new drill bit and tap to drill out to install the larger 10 mm ball studs! I also had to modify the tool holder on the mortising machine, because with the larger 10 mm ball studs the are much longer the 8 mm studs! It would have been much easier if I could have purchased the correct size gas strut to begin with>

These are an exact match for my truck canopy rear window. They have restored the stay open function to brand new. It’s really nice to not having that window hitting me in the head.

I used these struts to hold open the back window on my truck canopy. They are very strong. In fact, just one strut could do the job. I definitely wouldn't need a higher rated one.
