VideoConverter Ultimate - Superfast video conversion into more than 150 formats

Not used it much yet as I just haven't had the chance . . . I did a couple of conversions and they played fine and also did a small crop again there were no problems All I did was change the default location of the "NEWLY CONVERTED" files to a more appropriate folder I note many people have a registration issue . . . A card / note came in the DVD box and so working it out in English I registered the product on-line and do not seem to have any of those stupid 1/3rd size / file limits people talk about ! Still more to do and play with ('cos you just gotta try it out !) but time is not currently available And no I have NOT had any payment or refund for writing this review but if you want to send me some money back then feel free, honestly I don't mind and I won't hold it against you . . . Just saying ! ! ! :)

I had some DVD' s which contained some home videos from 30 years ago, and some of my father's Super 8 cine film (also now on DVD). I really wanted to transfer these films to a more modern format, and store these on my hard drive. This software does exactly that. The original films can be cut, trimmed and even enhanced. I would certainly recommend this software. So easy to install and use. I am very happy with this software.

...It could be so much better. Take note, this application/program does not, NOT, create DVD files, only video files. In particular, MP4, which, once burnt onto a DVD, can be played on Blueray players. Having finally gotten around to fully using what is a highly expensive Cropping tool and video merger, I just now discovered that you can only trim and keep footage upto 69 mins. Irrespective of what you thought you had, the duration after the trim is stated as 68 mins and 59 secs. I wish amazon would let reviewers post images as proof. Thankfully, I used a FREE trimmer I downloaded from FS studio. Free video Editor v. 14.13 build 805. Do not download the up to date version, as you have to pay a premium fee in order to save files in their original format. The cropping tool actually works, unlike so many of Wondershare's other offerings, including the overpriced and inferior 'Filmora'. You can't, though, detach the audio clip and, therefore, replace it. To solve the lack of a DVD creator, I also bought DVD Creator pro for just £5-00 ($7-50 approx). I suggest that you do likewise if you want to produce DVD Video recordings.

Buyer beware. Can only use on one device and that's it. Graphics acceleration would not work on my laptop but would on main pc. Uninstalled on laptop and installed on pc. Code would not work again. Sent request to tipard customer services explaining issue. They never replied back. Not interested. Now a useless purchase. Don't waste your time and money. Same software goes under a few other names but looks like same people. Amazon limits return and I did not use it till after the return date. So took the hit on that one. But please hear the warning for yourselves.

A Very Good program, converts all video files brilliantly. I have not had time to use all the other functions yet, but video convert is worth the low cost alone.

Works well. HOWEVER, since it was supplied by Amazon UK the software supplier did not have my email address and their registration number did not work. Both Tipard ( the software developer ) and Markt+Technik ( their European distributor) were very helpful via email and solved the problem. Hence 5 stars for all except 'easy to install' which only gets 2 stars.

At first I gave a negative review but then I was advised to activate the software which I did and it works now. I could not find my original review to amend it. only just started using the software but so far seems to work fine, happy enough with it.

I got this to down load from youtube as I had one before but this item cant do the same and can only be used on my laptop and not my main PC

Did not work on all types of videos for me.

Sehr guter Allraunder bei der Konvertierung jeglichen Videoformats. Leider ein wenig zu langsam beim konvertieren grosser Dateien.

GREAT ITEM TO HAVE ! MUST HAVE CONVERSION TOOL !

As said in the headline, I installed this program just to discover that it has the same format and menu as another Markt-Technik product I purchased a few months beforehand. Both that VideoConverter and this one contain the same number of formats for conversion. My issue is that neither program has the format for AMV, and this one doesn't have the basic form of WMV, but does contain conversion for its 'HD' formats.
