Getting past the setup being a nightmare, it seems that "Phone Remote Viewing" is intended to be taken as "Phone Remote Viewing from the other room in the same house.......(with the same Wi-Fi)." Because in the Questions & Answers section the seller clearly states this as a requirement. THIS REQUIREMENT should be listed in the product description page, especially since "Security Camera" and "Phone Remote Viewing" is part of the product image. Both of those statements, paired with current technologies and being accustomed to better programming practices, leads to the expectation of "It's a security camera that you can check from YOUR phone remotely." Perhaps the seller/developer can share which port the application and camera chat through? This is rather disappointing.Getting back to the setup. The camera is incapable of attaching itself to an unsecured wireless network. The application crashing, and the camera saying Wireless Connection failed after trying (but succeeding when a password is set), leads me to believe that the application sends gibberish to the camera as a password, when one isn't listed during setup (the Wi-Fi being unsecured). This is yet another hint of lazy programming.With the price ($59.99 @ time of purchase), I didn't expect quality video (thankfully for them, because there is little quality). But I did expect software developers to not be lazy and incompetent. Nor did I expect marketing to be deceptive by being suggestive of a reasonable expectation and only after struggling to see what was going on and why it wasn't working, discovering on the "Questions & Answers" section that my expectation of remote viewing is not to be met, and they excuse themselves by saying it is not listed anywhere in the product description.I say the EXCLUSION of a now basic and expected functionality SHOULD be LISTED in the product description, AND remove deceptive “Phone Remove View” from the description image.For deception and misinformation, we have enough politicians.

This camera does not configure, the app that comes doesn't even work with android past 6.I've gone past the return time so I cannot return it, but it's not a good camera. This sort of way of configuration is not a great idea.

Waste of time. Was not even capable of getting started since the app was NOT downlaodable in my “region” of the United States. IOS/Android it doesn’t matter. Geek squad couldn't even get it to work and as far as I’m concerned, this product should NOT be sold in the United States. The set up video is lying to you.

Malo no sirve bien no puede configurar bien, solo se puede estar conecta por WiFi si me muevo de lugar la cámara ya no se puede ver, solicite servicio al cliente y no contestan

Saludos, compre dos camaras y la app para visualizar las cámaras no está en Google Play Store, descargue la aplicación de la página de Internet y aún así no me funciona, pues el programa no encuentra las cámaras.
