LaiFug Bungee Dog lead ((1.2m) Red)

Despite only being a medium-sized dog, my pup has quite a pull on her, so I wanted to buy a bungee lead to prevent my arm being ripped out of it's socket every time she decided to suddenly run off in a particular direction. I bought this one as I liked the colours and it was reasonably priced. It was a bit wider than I was expecting and it took me a few days to get used to it aesthetically compared to our previous thinner lead, but it definitely did the job in terms of absorbing shock. I've had it for almost two months now and have started to notice that it's lost bit of the elasticity it used to have. This isn't so much of a problem for me, because my pup is much better behaved now and we don't even need to have her on the lead as often, but owners with dogs that continue to pull might find this a problem.

Would only use it for garden use not for even a walk down to a corner shop almost no grip.Elastic part, about a month till notice it fading

The leash in itself is not bad quality and it is attractive. However, the hand hold is pretty small. I like to use that when approaching other dogs or people for more control and it's hard to get your hand in quickly. Also the elastic is pretty week in the bungee part. The leash will not deter pulling and I found gave me less control and doesn't provide any releif on my joints from the occasional tug you still get all that as the leash extends easily with no resistance. One second it's a 4ft leash the next it's 6ft. You hold the leash anywhere but the base of the leash by the hand hold and it will extend easily if your dog pulls towards something. It basically is a standard leash and the bungee and hand hold are basically useless features. Which for me was why I chose the leash over a standard flat leash.

Wider strap and bigger buckle than I expected, so it was too big for my 8-week old German Shepherd puppy at first, but now that she's older at just over 3 months it's working great and should be the perfect size even when she's fully grown. The bungee has just enough give to let her run ahead or drop back on a walk without tugging her, and the non-stretchy control strap near the buckle is great when you need to grab her and hold her close (like if she decides she wants to chase a car). It's durable, holding up to her untrained chewing and tugging when she's taking her humans for a walk. The reflective strips are very reflective and bright against headlights for good visibility at night and there's a D-ring at the base of the (very sturdy) hand strap for clipping things like poop bag dispensers or flashlights to the leash. Would buy again!

I got this for my puppy as he is very energetic and runs around abruptly at times. I thought this would help as there would be tension so he wouldn't injure himself.It is kind of heavy, I would not recommend for small dogs (my puppy is 4lbs).Other than that great product that allows dogs more freedom and confort!

Comfortable and a breeze to walk my 90lb Boxer. He doesn't pull as much because he feels as if he has extra rope, when I need him close, I grab the red part. Great leash!

fabulous vacation for my arms while training our puppy. we have non-bungee leashes as well, but leash training is done best when she is already tired. if i just need to get her somewhere on a leash this is always the one i reach for.

It is a very nice leash but my miniature schnauzer still pulls pretty hard, and that hurts my bad back. I do like the elasticized portion of the leash. It does help to lessen the pain somewhat when she pulls hard.

had a problem with the first one but customer service was great and they sent out anew one immediately. I have three of these and they are fantastic. They are especially good to tie two dogs (or in my case goats) together as they has an extra ring to clip onto near the handle (i have never had other leashes that have this feature) and it is so handy.

The bungee middle section really works well--saves my dog and my arm from being yanked.

I like that it lets my dog go a little bit further than a regular 48" leash with out dragging the leash. Good quality too.

Sturdy leash. Reflective stitch is a nice feature. I got the orange and I wish there wasn't a section of red. Why cant it be all orange?There's a handy D ring at the handle where I clipped the poop bag holder. I wish the handle wasn't so stiff and wide but some people like that. The stretch is just enough to reduce pulling without being a sling shot.UPDATE 4months later: the elastic is dead. There is no more stretch and it's not because of my dog pulling on it. He's a 35 lb senior dog. I'm fairly disappointed that the reason I bought the leash (elastic) didn't hold up to 4 months of use. Leash is hung up in the garage after every use. Does not get rained on or left in the sun. Disappointing.
