RECOIL RCX68 Echo Series 6X8-Inch Car Audio Coaxial Speaker System

These 6x8 speakers sound 2-3 times better than my factory ones in my ford escape. People think they can get a set of speakers that carry 300w max or even more and they'll sound great, and they can't be further from the truth! Generally a older factory system will only put out 10-30 watts per channel, and that won't even come close to those fancy new speakers rms you just bought. Unless you are adding a amplifier, then you should get some speakers that run a rms at a relatively low wattage, this way they are getting closer to their peak performance. I'd say 30-70% is way better than 10-20%. If you plan on adding a 4ch amp, then by alleans add some high wattage speakers, just match the total speaker rms to the max amp output so you get a darn good sound, but don't blow your new shiny speakers! This product is perfect for a factory replacement, and even a low watt amplifier. I just wanted a little better factory sound over the paper cone junk and these were perfect for the application! You won't regret replacing that old stuff with these, unless you have a really high grade factory system to begin with. I have AMG 63 that I wouldn't do anything with except the 1 sub I have added, but I put these in my 03 ford escape xlt and my 1984 K5 blazer and they sound great! I'm not sure if they are supposed to be, but they seem to be fairly water resistant, as the 2 trucks are in the woods and the only roof the blazer has is a roll cage and it gets splashed with all kinds of puddle water and rain when it's not in the carport! I'd give them more than 5⭐'s if I could! Great product guy's!

Pretty shallow sounding. Poor quality sound. But if your looking for cheap and working then this is for you.

For the money these sound great. I replaced my factory door speakers in my 2010 ford edge with these and they sound really good! I've been absolutely bumping these things along with my subwoofer since I installed them and no problems at all so far

These are small 6x8 oval speakers. They are compact and have a hard frame supporting the soft materials. They are loud and have a crisp clear sound. They are not very powerful when it comes to watts and other ratings such as total RMS but they still make a great speaker to replace those old vibrating and ripped OEM speakers. They can also be installed in a boat or ATV or golf cart. They are an easy replacement with no major hassles, but it all depends on where your old ones are located at. The price is pretty cheap considering the durable material they are made from and the nice clean sound. I recommend them for a stock audio system and not to be connected to any low wattage amplifier. Although I do believe they can handle some low settings from a mid size amp, they should only play for short periods of time to prevent them from burning up. I still "No amp!!!" We all know we like to turn up that volume knob every now and then when our favorite song comes on.
