Voltage:120 Volts  |  Size:86 ft. (21.4 sq. ft.) "Effortless Snow Removal From Your Driveway Every year, the season’s first snowflakes gently float down, creating a muted landscape of glistening white and hushed wonder as it blankets the ground. It isn’t long, however, before the snow and ice begin to accumulate in unmanageable mounds on driveways and sidewalks, creating messy and hazardous conditions just outside your front door. Snow removal is a daunting, inconvenient task for many homeowners, and spoils the tranquility and fun of a big fluffy snow. WarmlyYours has a solution that keeps your driveway free and clear from whatever winter brings to your doorstep. The Snow Melting Cable-Heating System is an ideal answer to effortless and effective snow removal from paved surfaces. Designed specifically for embedding in concrete, asphalt and under pavers, it efficiently heats driveways and walkways with 120 volts, delivering 12 watts of heat for each linear foot. When installed with 3” spacing between cables, this heating element provides approximately 21.4 sq. ft. of snow melting coverage.Snow melts away as quietly as it falls, clearing the way safely and reliably all winter long. Not everyone has the time or ability to shovel the drive after each new snowfall. Hauling out the snow blower can be equally inconvenient and time-consuming. And chemical-based snowmelts often use harsh ingredients that negatively impact the environment and aren’t always pet and family-friendly. WarmlyYours offers a range of heating systems that use energy efficient twin-conductor heating cable to effectively combat the wintry conditions that surround your home for months at a time. Seamless Integration With a Variety of Paved Surfaces Easy installation in paved surfaces constructed of concrete, asphalt or in the mortar under pavers, the Snow Melting Cable Heating System seamlessly integrates into the design of your driveway and walkways. Also great for keeping garden paths or rear and side entrances clear of snow and ice, the Snow Melting Cable eliminates the need to shovel throughout the entire season. The Snow Melting Cable can be configured to respond when certain weather conditions are met, such as air temperature or surface moisture. A variety of controls for your snow melting system are available including Premium, Economy, Timer, or Value options. Simple Design for Easy Installation Designed for quick installation, the cable heating system doesn’t use pipes, boilers, tubing, tanks, or noisy pumps like other heated driveway systems. Plus, WarmlyYours offers installation plans upon request and technical support for every step of the way. Backed by a 10-year warranty for manufacture and workmanship, WarmlyYours also provides lifetime technical support, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Let WarmlyYours clear your driveway this winter and many more to come with a Snow Melt Cable Heating System that’s right for you. "

Winter Hit Hard - The first year to try this out - Very Happy! Clean walkway.....
We poured a new front patio and walk from the front door to the driveway, and I added 180 feet of heat cable to the decorative pour - and so glad I did. Shoveling this area would scratch the expensive concrete pour, but it's kept itself clear of the almost three feet of white stuff that has fallen this year. I manually turn it on and off but it works great - warms the walk up so well the water runs off and the rest evaporates, and it's been quite cold. Make sure you install it to electrical code there are specific requirements for this type of circuit. Safety first. do the install right the first time, you can't repair it once it's installed, follow the manufactures installation guidelines. If there was a con - meaning pro's vs con's - I would say the cost to run. I calculated this 188 ft cable cost just under $5 a day to run in my area. With that thought in mind how expensive is a broken hip, especially for us Seniors. Happy Trails.....

Used to melt snow on my steps, works great
I installed this underneath my front porch steps (embedded it in the underside of the treads). I wired it to a Belkin wemo wifi power outlet configured to talk to "If This Then That". It now turns on automatically when it's snowing. Finished full winter and declare this solution works really well. No more snow on my front steps.

works,but
it was installed as per instructions and it does work but it turns the stuff to slush and you still have to shovel. I was expecting it to melt everything and it just does not do that. now if I just have a dusting it will
