I like the smokey edges, and the sentiment is great. Seem like pretty good quality of bone china, although I'm not an expert. They're definitely a conversation starter, and a nice message to give yourself and your guests. I can use them with charcoal grey dinner plates I have that didn't come with salad plates, so I thought that was a nice combo to have these on top. It's like a little bit of sparkle.

These plates are lovely! I use them to decorate my table, but not for serving food. The plates are very delicate and lightweight. They must be washed by hand. They are of average quality, and I recommend them.

These are advertised as pasta bowls but you can definitely use them for plenty of other things like salad, soup, fruit, cereal, etc. The design is pretty simple. Not minimalist, but nothing fancy or elaborate either. Some may complain about the thinness, but that's how bone china is supposed to be. This isn't the highest quality China bowls, it for the price, this is to be expected and pretty good. Be realistic. The much cheaper stuff is often terrible quality. This is nowhere near as nice as my antique Japanese china bowls, but this is also much cheaper. This is a great value and very functional.
