My English Bulldog had a dry, crusty snout and no amount of bathing or face washing or coconut oil application would get rid of it. I initially tried this balm once before about month ago but he was so annoyed by it that he licked it off immediately and I gave up trying to get him to sit still while I applied it. Well eventually the crust just kept getting worse and started to turn grey. I decided to try again and applied a thicker coat and kept him distracted enough to have it on his snout for longer than 5 minutes (cheese REALLY helps). I applied another coat using the same cheese technique just before bed last night. I woke up this morning and noticed the grey crust had darkened and didn’t look so dry anymore. I took a damp paper towel and wiped his nose and layers and layers of crusty black skin just came off bit by bit and suddenly, I could see his nose again! I wish I took a “before” picture but honestly, I was super skeptical that it would even work that I didn’t bother to. Anyway, this is my dog this morning, 99% crust-free after one day of using this balm. This will be a daily routine now and hopefully, he will get so used to it that I won’t need the cheese anymore. (Highly doubt it though lol)

Works really well for all my fur babies (cats and dogs). Very beneficial to have during the cold weather to keep their nose and paws protected. Smells pretty good too love applying right after bath time.

My cat discovered he loved to scratch on sheets of cardboard but it really dried out his foot pads causing dried, cracked, painful toe beans. This salve helped moisturize and soothe his kitty toes even though he loved to lick it off right after application. Would recommend.

I live in the driest desert climate in the US and struggle with my dogs’ noses cracking. I already used a lotion-type product for dogs, but found it was not enough. I started adding this product on as a second layer every other night and it completely resolved any cracking he has left. You can see scarring in the second photo from dryness, but his nose is completely healed. Love this product and recommend highly!

Ingredients are not cat safe. I followed reviews and it landed us in the vet’s office. “Regardless of the form, the eucalyptus plant is toxic to your cat.” I know now to research ingredients FIRST.
