Beware broken locking mechanism
I originally purchased the 30ft lead with the stretchy part near the clip. Saved my dogs neck when she decided to run after a squirrel. *facepalm* The metal part that slides over the hook to lock broke. Will slide off and unlock. The hook doesn’t open too easy so it’s fine for short term use. That is the biggest downside I’ve found, out of the three must haves for a leash. ( thick so it won’t break, strong lockable hook for no surprise escaping, and reflective to see the dog and to find.)Flash to the future. I broke my ankle. My dog got sad bc we can’t go on walks, and so I got the 50ft. The handle is a bit different but grips well. I specifically use this lead to tether my pup to a tree to play anyway. This one also doesn’t have the extra stretchy part, but isn’t needed at this length. (And/or maybe my dog runs after squirrels less ) Plenty long to play fetch. It’s thick. Which is important with a 90lbs rottie. Being reflective is also important, but at this length it’s easy to find if left in the grass ( even if you order olive green ). So far the locking part on the hook is intact. Dog is definitely rough on the leash/hook. But it will be useless if the lock broke. Safety is paramount, and if she gets free, the whole purpose of the lead will be trump. Fingers crossed.

Not for strong chewers
Got the 1/3 inch thickness long leash for playing in backyard. We thethered him there for 10 min while we were outside doing some gardening and didn't want him in the way. We were w him and gave him a bone. Once he hid his bone somewhere, he chewed on his leash and broke it. It took him less than 30 seconds to bite through it. So fair warning not for chewers if your dog is heavy chewer who will bite leashes. Ours only bites when he can't get right next to us. Otherwise we liked it. We'll be trying the thicker one, and will not be using the leash when we're not actively playing w him.

Very comfortable handle
Very comfortable handle, has a small bungee effect so it gently stops your pet when they get to the end. Very happy with it other than it does not reflect and any sort of sticker is attracted to it. Other than that, it is well made.

Durable and light weight
My favorite leash, easy to hold she chewed threw three flat leads once while on a walk she has not been successful with this one due to its thickness Going to order two more. I have this one and a 50 foot that I was using to allow her to run and more freedom.

*Beware if you dog pulls on the leash*
I really like the look and the quality of the item but I had to return it due to the stretching it does when my dog would pull. I was not prepared for it to be as stretchy as it is so when she pulled her 95lb self towards another dog, I got 2 rope burns on either hand. If your dog doesn’t pull, I would buy it.

Big Boy leash
I had purchased a similar leash from another company and it fell apart within weeks. This is the true big boy leash. The quality is amazing and you can tell right off the bat. The handle is nice and cushioned and even though he has tried the dog has not bitten through this one!

Great leash, bit too heavy, nice handle
It’s a great leash. If I could have bought a 6’ with 3/8 vs 1/2 it would be perfect. The leash is too heavy for my 25 lb dog.

Perfect leash for swimming
This worked perfectly for bringing my dog to the local watering hole & will be using with foster puppies in the future for off leash training! Very good value

Great super long training lead
Heavy duty - our retriever man pup chews everything. He has very poor recall and this has been great to hive him extra space whilst being trained.

Long dog lead
50ft is a lot of lead, ideal if you have a young dog/puppy and trying to train. The lead lenght allows lots of freedom without loss of control of you pet. That said, control of the lead it’s self does take some work.
