The robust wall ashtray with flap emptying is made of chrome steel (CNS). It is connected to the wall via three holes in the wall bracket. We recommend attaching via a screw dowel connection (not included). After the bracket arm is attached to the wall, the ashtray is inserted from above into the pipe recess of the wall arm. And you're done. It can also be removed for emptying. The wall ashtray, also known as a wall ashtray, is suitable for indoor and covered outdoor use. The ashes of cigarettes, cigars etc. are placed in the half shell and transported inwards via the folding mechanism into the collection container (capacity 500 ml). Avoids flying ashes. For emptying, the sturdy plug-in lid including folding mechanism can be removed. Diameter of wall ashtray: 11.8 cm. Height of collector: 5.5 cm. Wall bracket diameter: 8.6 cm. Diameter of wall arm: 3.2 cm. Product weight: 300 g. Wall ashtray with flap emptying – an inexpensive catering item in catering quality with a wide range of uses. As expected, reasonable quality
A pit pricey for an ashtray, but it suits my needs perfectly, hence the purchase. It's not industrial quality, as the stainless steel is thinner than that. But it's fine for domestic use, and thicker steel is harder to form and would cost more. The upper bowl is shallow allowing cigarettes to balance in easily, and I don't feel it needs slots/vee's to keep the cigarette still. The action of emptying the upper bowl into the bottom works OK and the mechanism is so simple it's unlikely to go wrong. My only gripe is that the bottom bowl isn't half an inch deeper. The reason being is that when you empty the top bowl, it always falls into the centre of the bottom bowl, and a pile therefore collects there. This is fine until the pile reaches the height of the upper bowl, and when it does it stops the mechanism of the top bowl working correctly. i.e. the 2 halves don't close as they get obstructed. Yes you can say it just needs emptying more often, but I'd rather it was a bit deeper and I could just empty it weekly.
