Game-Changer for Walks: The Self-Managing Leash
I've had this dog leash for a while now, and I'm honestly kicking myself for not fully appreciating its brilliance sooner! What I initially thought was just another leash has turned out to be incredibly convenient, making our walks so much more enjoyable. The comfort and ergonomic design are immediately noticeable. The handle fits perfectly in my hand, and even on longer walks, there's absolutely no pressure or chafing. It truly feels effortless to hold. What has truly impressed me recently is the one-hand operation for managing the leash length. It's intuitive and allows me to easily adjust how much freedom my dog has without fumbling or needing my other hand. This has been a game-changer in crowded areas or when I need to keep him closer. The best part? No more tangles around my dog's legs! The way the leash extends and retracts seems to naturally avoid those frustrating twists. This alone has made our walks smoother and less stressful for both of us.It genuinely feels like the leash just manages itself with the retraction. It provides enough slack for comfortable exploration but gently reels in when needed, keeping things controlled without feeling restrictive. In summary: If you're looking for a comfortable, ergonomic leash that simplifies managing your dog during walks and eliminates tangles, this one is a winner. The one-hand operation and self-retracting feature are incredibly convenient and make for a much more pleasant experience. Highly recommended!

Extendable Leash=More Exercise. This is a great one!
I got this leash to use with my 47-pound, one year old mini Bernedoodle. We already had a 26ft Flexi “cord” extendable leash, but, so far, I prefer this extendable leash for a few reasons:1) I definitely prefer the tape (flat thick leash material) over the thin cord is harder to get tangled, easier to see and less painful if it does wrap around your legs.2) I was surprised to learn that I like the 16ft length better than the 26ft because it still gives him plenty of room to run around (I love extendable leashes because they allow him to get a lot more exercise than just a 6ft leash because he can be running/roaming in front of and behind me as I walk which helps him get more exercise even when I only have time for a shorter walk). The 26ft is a little too long though and so I’m more likely to have to untangle him from a tree or a street sign or feel more “whiplash” when he gets to the end of the leash.3) I feel like the design of this handle is slightly more ergonomic than the Flexi. The angle makes it a little easier on my wrist and the button is positioned so it feels just a little more natural to press (I’m a woman with thin but medium length hands). I also really like the fact that it has the neon accents to make us just a little more visible for walks at dusk or night. All in all, I think this a great leash and you’ll probably love it!Note to manufacturers: I found this leash because I was looking for your harness system with the built-in short magnetic leash on top because we do a fair amount of hiking/ off leash walking. However, I am waiting until you all come out with a version that has adjustable clips at the FRONT and the back so you don’t have to slide over the dog’s snout to get it on but can just place it on the dog’s back and clip them in. I know other owners that also have dogs who are sensitive to things going over their heads and no one wants to have to wrestle their dog before taking them for a walk. 😂

Durable. Works well. Buying again.
My dog took this through what feels like every bramble and rose bush and now drags it along the edge of a cement wall every day. I dropped it in the creek twice and just poured the water out and kept going. She can really pull hard for a 45 lb dog but never broke this. After 9 months, it's finally looking frayed, so I'm buying the same one again as "preventive maintenance." I appreciate that I can see the fraying lead to know it's time to replace it before something internal breaks. One thing I added was some highly reflective tape around the plastic by the collar clip because my dog is black and I wanted extra visibility at night.

Durable leash, a few issues with the locking feature
I got the size medium leash for my 50-ish pound pup, and so far I'd rate it as an okay walking companion... but don't think it's good enough to make me replace my old standard, non-retractable leash.Pros: Great length and range - this has a longer tape than I'll probably ever need in my neighborhood or on the trails where I take my dog. Super comfortable grip that doesn't feel at all awkward to hang on to and operate.Mehs: The retraction feature of this leash is STRONG - maybe that'll be a pro for some people, but when you let go of the pause button, if you have any slack the tape whips back into the base with so much force it yanks on my dog's neck and has definitely startled her.Cons: Given that I walk on streets where there can be a lot of traffic, I need to engage and disengage the locking feature frequently and this is the one area where the leash under-performs. The little lock button is fairly small and not easy to rotate into place quickly if a car suddenly comes around the corner quickly. I also find it sometimes locks into place seemingly on it's own. Definitely find this to be a poor design.
