These are very easy to swallow and the price is excellent.

Great support for the eyes
I have been taking 40 mg Lutein for more than 25 yrs. Have a strong family Hx of Macular degeneration occurring in mid 60's. I have this condition but did not get it until age 79. Caught early. Monthly injectins. Retinologist says taking this supplement kept Macular degeneration from occurring at an earlier age. Too bad ths treatment was not available for parents.....Take care of your eyes...NOW

Ingredients good
I was advised by my ophthalmologist to take lutein. She recommended Ereds but I found that after 2 months I was having serious gastrointestinal pains. In researching this I found that my choice had way too much zinc in it, enough to be much higher than recommended for daily consumption. After taking a brand with no zinc my symptoms disappeared. This brand is a replacement for what is no longer available on Amazon. No zinc. No problems with it. I see my eye doctor in 3 weeks so I may update this review

Eye vitamin recc. By my optometrist
Much less expensive than preservision or ARReds. Recc by my optometrist. Same ingredients he wanted me to have and to daily daily, rest of my life. Seconded by a vascular opthalmologist who said this is just as good and a lot less expensive.

Improved eye sight
I've been taking these for about 9 months and they work! Last November I had to get a new prescription in my glasses because my eye sight was getting worse. Did a little research and found these Lutein, started taking it... went to do my annual eye exam and my vision has improved!!! Doc said script from last year is now too strong!!! I take 2 40 MG pills a day.

I have macular degeneration, was diagnosed with it several years ago now. I see my retinal specialist once a year to check my eyes and so far...KNOCK-ON-WOOD!!...they're doing well.Several years ago my retinal doc told me to start taking another product well known now for eye care. I look everything up and found that the amount of lutein in the product was minimum to say the least. I looked up the other ingredients and decided to buy each separately, take them, adding more mg's than what is in the eye product.I didn't tell my doc that I did that, for all he knows I'm taking the "miracle" product he recommended and is obviously happy with the results I'm getting.

I like that it has a higher content, percentage than at grocery store
