Hozelock Tricoflex Ultraflex Hose, Yellow, 12.5 mm x 10 m/2333781

Have longish garden needing several lengths of hosepipe and have tried all sorts. They all had problems kink, split, twist, leak etc. This one has none of those problems. It’s strong, not prone to leaking and kinking and does not leak at the fittings with the tap of spray attachment. It coils without developing twists. NOTE: It does not come with fittings to tap or spray at the other end so get the Hoselock ones separately for the best connections. They tend to be slightly more expensive but are perfect for the job and will pay you back in the long run.

It's a good hose. Very few issues with kinks and seem to be just fine. Only had it a short time not sure how it will survive outdoors all winter.

My old hose sprung a few leaks after years of use so bought this one as same make. Attaching it to my old reel was slow going as it didn't bend easily & was quite stiff. Maybe as it's new? Once on the reel & attached to tap i tried it out. Works a treat! I can tell it's better quality than the old style as it doesn't kink & stop the water flow like the old one used to when it kinked over. A strong, well made hose for garden & power washing use. I'd definately recommend.

Good hose. Replaced one 8 years old.Not sure the ridges add much just be careful as they can break the little ‘teeth’ on the connectors if you rotate carelessly - like I did meaning new connectors needed as it leaks.Certainly coils up ok on the wall reel - some reviewers said it was an issue and I was worried but hard to see how/why.

Finally, a hose which doesn't kink.Quite heavy, but I'll gladly take the weight if it means no kinks!

First the obvious: this hose is resistant to kinking when pressurised, but when empty will kink like any other hose. You can't change the laws of mechanics; a thin wall hose that has been twisted along its length, will kink when bent sharply.Having said that, this hose has a grey stripe along its length; very useful to identify when its gets twisted. Keep it untwisted regularly, and it won't kink very much.The hose is indeed very lightweight; upon close inspection it consists of several layers; a thin smooth blue inner tube of solid material, then two layers of a closed cell foam construction (a black one and a yellow one with mesh webbing in between), and then a thin transparent outer layer (solid material with an ever so sightly rough surface texture). It is the closed cell foam construction of the middle two layers that makes this hose so lightweight (when empty). We haven't used it yet in the colder winter weather, but I suspect this foam construction will make it keep its flexibility much better when it gets colder, compared to the standard PVC hose we had before which went as rigid as PVC pipe when cold.Pushes onto Hozelock hose connectors without any leaks, in our experience; just screw the nut REALLY tight with a wrench; hand-tight isn't enough.

Probably should have paid more attention but wasn’t obvious it came with no fittings. Had to order them separately at a cost of another 15 quid and just for plastic rather than brass. I feel £60 for a length of rubber tubing is excessive. Have had much cheaper hoses that included the brass fittings. Am hoping it lasts a VERY long time at this price. We shall see.

Se ve resistente. Por su aspecto diría que va a durar muchos años.Es algo más gruesa que la que tenía anteriormente, no mucho, puede que sólo 1 mm más, pero es verdad que me ha costado un poco encajarla en los adaptadores para la conexión a la toma de agua y a la pistola de riego, pero también es verdad que así queda muy bien sujeta.El agua sale con un olor fuerte a goma las primeras veces que se usa, pero el olor va desapareciendo con el uso.

Mein alter Gardenaschlauch hat mich in den Wahnsinn getrieben. Hab jeden Tag länger zum Entwirren des Schlauches, als zum Wässern des Garten gebraucht. Dann kam dieses gelbe Schmuckstück. Und nun kann ich den Schlauch fröhlich durch den Garten hinter mir herziehen und es gibt keine Schlaufen und Knoten. Ein Traum! Wie machen die das?! Hätte ich mir schon viel früher gönnen sollen. Sehr empfehlenswert.
