For the money it is very small
item has a heavy weight to it as the carving and the snow glows is good, but it is very small in size compared to others. Snow doesn’t even move around and you have to put three batteries in it but it charges a lot like in the computer.No instructions came with this item. And now that I put it together to give to gift it, it doesn’t play music. I have missed the return date on this item. Not sure how to proceed. it wasn’t cheap.I wrote to the company about the problem and have yet to hear from them, but have missed the deadline to return to Amazon

A nicer lantern to be a centerpiece or part of a table decoration for the Holidays
This lantern is not big. Not the size of a standard lantern. So it is a decorative piece for a table or a shelf.It takes 3 AAA batteries and then you are good to go. 2 options: just the light (with flickering effect for the flames) or light+music. You press the button and the songs change.A fun way to add a Holiday cheering spirit to any party.

Cute
Smaller than I expected, but it is OK for the price range. Music is good. I just wish it had the fan behind it that would keep the "snow" moving. My larger one has that and I love it!

Cute Little Christmas Decoration
This cute little Christmas lantern is the perfect way to add some holiday cheer to a small space. It is less than 8 inches tall and weighs less than a pound. You can use 3 AA batteries (not included) or the provided USB cable which makes the lantern portable. I love that I can literally use this lantern anywhere! I have it on my desk at work and it brings a smile to my face when I see it there. You can easily use it as a table decoration, on the mantelpiece, or near a Christmas village. I do not use the music option very often as it repeats the 8 songs over-and-over again and it can drive you crazy! I am sure kids would love it, though. I enjoy using the light as it casts a dim Christmasy glow over the immediate area it is in.The lantern is quite small. Though it appears well made, I feel that it is overpriced for what you receive. It is a cute little addition to your Christmas decor and could make a fun gift for that person on your list who is impossible to shop for.

Its ok
I was super excited when I saw this. It's so beautiful. But...when I got mine, I was a bit disappointed, there was globs of glue on the outside, a chunk of glue floating on the inside. If you can ignore the glue and the white cord, it's still beautiful and magical, fits my Christmas decor.

The sound is awful.
