The issue bellow was fixed by an update. works perfectly now. I'm using it for my heater, and it randomly turns on. I had to create a routine on Alexa's app to turn it off when it's on, so I activate the routine when out of home, or sleeping, but sometimes it doesn't work anyway Also, sometimes Alexa doesn't get a response from it. It is very dangerous, specially in my case, with the heater. Furthermore, the app is terrible, it never works. It's a bit struggle to pair the device. Extremely bad designed software. I am going to ask for a refund, and find another brand, as I saw other people complaining of the same issues

I received my Sengled Matter smart plug last night. It was so easy to set up. I purchased the E27 light last week and wanted to extend my Matter devices and it's so simple. I have a few hard-to-reach lamps which have odd bulbs. I hate searching around behind the sofa for the switches. I also really need to have my lights come on when I am not home with all the break ins lately its good to make it look like you are home. This Sengled matter plug is perfect for both. It is already connected to my Alexa account when I purchase it. I just updated my Alexa and echo then plugged it in the socket. It was found immediately. I can turn my lights on from my app on my phone or over my echo with my voice. I think this coming summer my fan will be plugged in here 24/7. No more having to get up to put it on and off. My household uses both google home and Alexa and this works through both. My flat mate prefers Google so now we can both use it without problems. I would highly recommend this product. My Christmas tree lights will be using this plug next month. No more breaking my back reaching behind the tree.

I bought this on a deal from Amazon as I'd recently got an Alexa and it was recommended, so why not try it? At first it was okay. With a bit of a struggle I got it set up in the app and had Alexa turn my lamp on. Ok. Job done. Then after about an hour, it stops responding. I try everything - reset, unplug, power cycle, re-pair - now Alexa can't see it at all. Impossible to readd it, will not connect to WiFi. Maybe they sent me a dud, so I returned it and got a replacement. This time, I can't even connect one single time. It just won't be recognised by my apps at all. It's not an Alexa issue or an Internet issue as every single other thing in the house works as expected. Now the replacement is showing a red light, which I can't find any documentation on in the manual or anywhere else online so who even knows what that means. My plug is right next to both my Echo and my router so it couldn't be any closer, as recommended. I contacted Sengled customer services explaining everything I'd done already and they replied telling me to try... exactly what I already told them I'd done. Thanks! Just an absolute waste of time trying to use this product. I think I'll just stick to turning on my lamp by hand.

Works great with Home Assistant. Once connected it took a while for the socket to be porpoerly recognised, but once they've connected fully they're rock solid and very responsive. They lost a star for the initial set up confusion, but they completed connection after about an hour and have been working perfectly since.

Right out of the box, the Sengled Smart Plug promised to be the missing piece in my smart home puzzle, boasting Matter-enabled functionality and seamless integration with Alexa. Setting it up was a breeze, especially with my eero 6+ WiFi - no compatibility issues there. However, it wasn't long before the shine wore off. Despite its smart credentials, this plug plays by its own rules, turning on and off at random intervals, with no discernible pattern or trigger. It's like having a mischievous ghost in the house! While it nails the smart home basics, its unpredictability makes it hard to trust as a reliable part of my daily routine

Does exactly what it says; it's a smart plug which it does well and it integrates easily with Alexa. Easy setup, works out the box, no fuss. Probably the only thing I don't like is the light on the on/off switch can feel bright if you use this in a bedroom. But apart from that, excellent product, highly recommend.

Installed this in my woodworking workshop so it’s a pretty dusty environment for anything but this little plug works fault free with my Echo Dot to remotely control one of my machines. Just purchased two more. Also very simple to set up.
