Santa's Little Friends Chocolate Advent Calendar by Vermont Christmas Company - Full Half Pound of Delicious Milk Chocolate, Individually Wrapped - Twas the Night Before Christmas

This is a pretty standard advent calendar but the best is that the chocolate is good too.

Great advent calendar. All the chocolates are the same but good.

It was sitting waiting for me, beckoning seductively, and i really wanted to wait till December. But on November 28th, my husband said, “do we have anything sweet in the house?” And i said “well, we’ve got my Advent Calendar, but i was gonna wait till December,” however, when the urge hits him, i was powerless to resist his convincing arguments, and pleading puppy dog eyes.So i emptied all the chocolates out, and we ate it like savages. And may i say, i only got 5 of the 24, cos he was like an animal. A bear, fresh out of his winter hibernation, starved, and in search of sustenance wouldn’t have attacked these chocolates with as much gusto as my husband on a quest for sweet things. I tore the outer cardboard box off, without even opening the doors, so i can’t comment on that part. I pulled out the inner plastic tray, and popped all the chocolates out of their blisters, like a giant popping fidget toy. It was a pretty disgusting scene to be honest.Anyway, the chocolate - it was fairly decent, nice and creamy, though not on the Lindt scale (my normal go-to Advent Calendar, and i would throw hands if he did to my Lindt calendars what he did to this one) but definitely not a bad calendar at all. I do prefer Lindt, but they’re more expensive, and they had such a large range this year i didn’t know what to pick and i got annoyed trying to choose.Anyway, now i have no Advent Calendar to open. Quite sad really. To summarise, this is quite nice, middle of the range chocolate. Pretty creamy

We got everyone in the family an advent calendar this past Christmas for a bit of fun - many of them were "themed", but for some reason my seven-year-old daughter was OBSESSED with this one in particular. It's cute and the chocolates were fine, and the graphics look nice. I honestly have no idea why she loved it so much but I'll take it!

I could start this review in a number of ways, but what you really want to know about is the chocolate. Good news - it’s pretty tasty. It's not the best chocolate I’ve ever tasted, but very good. It’s soft and milky and the pieces are generously sized.The calendar itself is flimsy, as these cardboard calendars tend to be. It got a bit dinged up in shipping, which is probably to be expected at least a little. The chocolate pieces are wrapped like little Christmas gifts and fit almost exactly into their spaces in the calendar and stay where they should. If you’ve ever had the annoyance of having a calendar in which all the pieces fall out during transit, this was a big win!In addition to the chocolate, inside each door is a verse from A Visit from St. Nicholas (‘Twas the Night Before Christmas). Cute touch and adds to the classic feel of this calendar.

10 days into my Santa’s Little Friends Chocolate Advent calendar. Small piece of chocolate every day. A good tasting chocolate! The dogs and cats with an old time Santa is a very cute picture covering the whole calendar. Each piece of individually wrapped chocolate is behind each door and each day number is scattered throughout the front so you search for the day. Behind each door is a part of the story of “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” starting with door one and the beginning of the story.

Very dissatisfied with this product. Very old candy inside.

24 days of chocolates are included in this advent calendar. Day 1 begins the poem A Visit from St. Nicholas, which is continued with subsequent days. The individually wrapped chocolates are wrapped like little presents, which is a nice touch and each is a bit difficult to remove because they are a good size. It's a good reason, but still a bit of an annoyance. The chocolate isn't bad.
