Es ist wirklich beeindruckend, was dieser kleine Router alles bietet. Die bekannten dynamischen Routing Protokolle von RIP über OSPF bis hin zu BGP(I und e), PIM SM, MPLS mit QoS und der ganze L2 Kram wie VLAN, L2TP usw. VPN Protokolle wie IPsec und Wireguard fehlen natürlich auch nicht. In die Bedienung muss man sich allerdings reinfuchsen, denn sie unterscheidet sich doch sehr stark von Juniper oder Cisco Konfigurationen. Die WLAN Reichweite ist gut, der Durchsatz auch. Stromverbrauch im Leerlauf mit 2 x 1 GBit/s Kabeln angeschlossen aber ohne sonstige Anschaltungen: Rund 7W. Aber Achtung, wer sich mit Computer-Netzwerken nicht wirklich auskennt und es auch nicht lernen möchte, sollte lieber ein einsteigerfreundlicheres Gerät wählen.

Gott it delivered before the day they advised it to come. Great. Mikrotik is my goto and I have a couple of mikrotik devices since before. It is a perfect device for the person that knows some of network and want to have control. Do I recommend this device? O YES I do.

Acquistato a marzo in quanto cercavo un router configurabile per avere sotto controllo la mia rete locale, con l'intenzione di affiancarlo a quello del mio provider: trovato! sul Mikrotik Hap ax3 gira il sistema operativo Router OS 7.x: un unico dispositivo che offre tutte le funzioni di bridge, vlan, firewall L2/L3/L4, dhcp, dns con filtering DList (ho caricato liste OISD e hagezi), server wireguard nativo, scheduler e scripting, cloud (un dns gratuito per chi non ha ip statico) e tanto altro. La ciliegina sulla torta è la possibilità di utilizzare i container con tante app didponibili. Perfetto per un home lab, ambienti small business per aumentare la protezione e la connettività fra sedi, ambienti home strutturati (tanti dispositivi, IoT, telecamere). On board ha un processore ARM 4 core fino a 1800Mhz , 1Gb ram, wifi 5 e 2,4 Ghz, 5 porte ethernet 1x2,G e 4x1Gb. Arriva pre configurato per essere connesso e impostato con maschere semplificate, ma non è plug and play: le interfacce hanno una granulosità di parametri impressionante e la console ha un proprio linguaggio proprietario. Consigliato a chi ha basi di networking e tanta voglia di testare configurazioni oppure ha già esperienza nell'IT oppure a chi deve fare esperienza in un proprio home lab.

Terribly underrated. Nearly all of their devices RouterOS including this hAP AX3 which truly gives you enterprise features. If you have any network game, don't listen to people who say that's RouterOS and Mikrotik devices are too complicated. That's what was said about Cisco enterprise gear too. You basically get enterprise grade equipment from a company located in a NATO ally for the price of SOHO for routers, access points, and smaller switches. I've had a number of their devices, including ones that you'd find in use in an enterprise environment, in a datacenter, or in use at an ISP. All are incredibly reasonable in price and the lowest cost items have the same enterprise grade operating system and interface. There's an excellent management app and a web interface and there are options for managing large numbers of devices on a network or even remotely. RouterOS is Linux like a lot of network operating systems. And you do have command line access althoug it's not your typical command line. It's sort of setup like Cisco IOS which I've seen on other Linux based network devices. You can even run containers on devices LIKE THIS ONE. Don't sleep on Mikrotik.

Fantastic bit of kit, created 3 VLANs, now I can play around on my homelab without knocking the rest of the house offline when I inevitably break something.
