I had a serious fall and broke my femur completely into two pieces. Hence I’ve had a lot longer recovery than normal. Last summer my husband had a hip replacement surgery and purchased a raised toilet seat. It was at the higher end of the price range, but I wanted it to be nice and durable. It was on the larger size, quite comfortable etc, but had a splash guard that had a funky angle on the front end, and as such all waste lands on it. Yuck! So I did my research on buying this second one for a different bathroom. This one is nice durable and fills the bill. However, it advertises it has an attachment to hold toilet paper… it does not work.

This device is very easy for my husband to use. It is very sturdy. The padded handles really help him get up and off the toilet highly recommend.

Simple, I weigh less than 310 lbs, and after the third use, I could feel the cheaply made padding seat cracking and collapsing. This unit couldn't possibly support 350 lbs. This company is dangerously advertising a weight that could cause permanent harm to others. I purchased another one locally with a plastic seat, and it worked fine.

My mother is 98 and still living at home. This product is perfect for her. I wish I had purchased it sooner.
