I was a little nervous about these as they were so much cheaper than the OEM Arlo solar panels but the first one I bought worked so well I picked up additional panels for my other outdoor cameras. The quality seems nice and the magnetic connection holds tight. The cord was long enough for me to get the panels into locations with appropriate sun. I have the Arlo Pro 4 XL cameras with the extra large battery to try to extend the time between charges but if I would have bought these originally I probably wouldn’t have needed the XL as they have kept my battery fully charged since I installed them. The charging speed is sufficient for my application as none of the cameras are constantly recording and when I installed the first one was at about 50% battery and in about 2 days it had fully charged and maintained full charge ever since. I’ve only had these installed in spring so not sure if there will be a significant difference when it gets to the winter but as of now well worth the price.

I have arlo chargers for my rentals and have to frequently change the batteries. I wanted a way to avoid the frequency of battery changes. The solar charger works in a location with moderate sun to keep the battery from being drained so if you start with a fully charged battery it will keep it charged. The solar panel however did not charge a battery that was already down to 20% in charge just kept it at that level.

Stopped working after a few months, even though it should be a straight forward product. No way to contact seller. Will be throwing away.

I am updating my review and making it 4 star just to praise the seller's support in this matter. The product I received was faulty and seller refunded the money even after a month just to keep the customer's satisfaction. === Previous comment === Instead of charging the battery it is draining out the charged battery. A fully charged battery. Drain completely within five days if connected to the solar whereas if we just charge the battery and don’t use solar, it runs for two months. I don’t have similar problem with Arlo original solar panel.

Great purchase and works like a charm

No matter where we placed did not charge up well at all

Installed one panel on sunny side of home, temp outside about 27 degrees Fahrenheit. Arlo app alerted me that it was too cold for the panel to charge. Temp up to 33 degrees and no change. Will update when I install second one, maybe this one is defective. Update: installed both solar panels and had a 55 degree f day and both panels working perfectly. Today monitored as temp went up. It began working at 34 degrees f. Both cameras at100%.
