3d Printed Kobolds Suitable for Fantasy RPGs
3d printing has come on leaps and bounds in the last decade. The explosion of miniatures for rpgs has been quite incredible. But even now the quality when compared to a cast metal figure still isn't quite there, more so in the details than overall appearance. These kobold are fantastic though. They need only very slight work and fixing to the bases provided. They lack a little in the very fine intricate areas, beneath folded cloaks it is merely blocked in, there aren't tiny items such as bones ornaments, pouches or patterned flourishes, then again they are mere kobold and when prepped will stand upon a battlements ready for action looking quite ready for a fight. My only other comment is the cost. They are cheaper than other miniatures but even so for what they are they are still not that cheap. You gets what's you pays for is the old adage.

Super cool minis!
High quality, sturdy and detailed mini figures. I am not an expert at painting minis but have been enjoying the hobby for a little while. I thoroughly enjoyed painting these as the designs of the different statues were appealing to me and allowed for plenty of creativity in terms of colours/shades.I found these easy to paint on and even the smallest details were easy to make up and paint accurately. I'd definitely consider buying more from this brand as they're good quality minis and they look awesome!

Nicely detailed miniatures
This is a review for the Forged Terrain Store Kobold army miniatures. These are nicely designed and finished miniatures. They are of an appropriate size to be used with a variety of tabletop RPGs.The 3D printing quality is good. They are reasonably priced when you consider how expensive many gaming miniatures are.The one negative is that all of the figures are very detailed except for the bottom of their clothing. In all of them, this is just completely smooth with no detailing at all. This is a real shame as the pieces don't look good from below, unlike other figures I have seen from this company.

Great looking Miniatures which unfortunately arrived in pieces
3D Printed Kobold Models from Forged Terrain. This listing contains 6x models with 5x 25mm Bases and 1x 32mm base. They're designed by Epic Miniatures and look really good, whilst also being a really good 3D print. They're the perfect scale to be used for D&D and could probably be proxied as Skaven in other fantasy wargames.Unfortunately though they arrived squashed, and 3 of the Miniatures have bits snapped off them. They'll glue back together but I think the flat packed cardboard with foam wotsit shaped inserts needs revisted as it doesn't offer much protection to delicate Miniatures.

Quality and detailed
These miniature figures are really good quality and really detailed. I love that the six figures all have different poses and expressions. They are ready to prime and paint and would make an ideal addition to any RPG games.

Not as highly detailed as other figures
My brother got me into painting miniatures after giving me some which he had designed himself at work, so I was interested to see how these compared! The little kobolds do have some really cool details, like the belts made from skulls, and I love that they each have a unique poseI’ve had a couple of other sets from this company and those have had much finer details compared these, for example underneath the kobold’s clothing it’s quite blocky and flat feeling. I’ve tried out my speed paints on one and it’s taken the paint well, but the speed paints really lend themselves to fine details as the paint ‘gathers’ at creases to add shading for you, so I’ll need to be a tad more creative with my painting skills when it comes to these little guys I think! Also, the plastic feels a tad delicate and bendy so I’m unsure how they’d fair up against use in actual gaming (I just like painting them for display and a bit of fun!)

Good models
No imperfections on the models, the scale is good, they look like they will be good fun to paint. They are pretty sturdy even in the thinner areas.
