Great travel tripod
I bought this tripod mainly for use on vacations. I have a regular size carbon fiber tripod for normal use. The tripod folds up pretty small and unlike some other models, you don't have to invert the center column to do so. Just flip the notch and rotate the legs up. You do want to loosen the knob on the ball head so it can rotate, to fold it up as small as possible, otherwise the knobs of the ball head may be in the way. The ball head works smooth and held my 5D mk III well in place in any position, even with the center column extended. The height of the tripod is pretty decent. The legs have twist-locks, which I prefer over the snap-locks. My experience in the past has been that the snap-locks will eventually break as the plastic gets brittle over time. Some people claim that the legs fall out when they loosen the twist-locks, but that is a user-error. You only need to twist it half a turn to extend or retract the leg sections. Twist it too far and it will fall out.You can also unscrew one of the legs and use it as a monopod. It would have been nice to be able to use the center column and ball head as an extension of the monopod, but you can't, and so as a monopod it is really too short to use, unless you're a midget.I bought the tripod because of its features and price point. Judging from the photos of some of the other options, I would have liked to have seen a better bag with this one. Some others showed sturdier zippered bags. This tripod came with a fairly flimsy bag.Overall I would recommend this tripod for travel and occasional use. Don't expect it to perform the same as a $300 carbon fiber full size tripod. I did take one star off for the useless (too short) monopod feature as well as the flimsy bag.Note - I did get rewarded to write this review but it did not influence my standpoint on the tripod.

Value for money! After looking at some reviews online about this product I decided to give it a chance. I use it for traveling and found it is not use in a rugged way. But it is still very stable, I used it in some rather gusty winds,it didn't fall. It has all the nice features an expensive tripod would have but without the cost. I cannot describe how durable it is under a extreme working environment. Fits inside my carry-on and is light weight enough to hook to my travel camera bag for hiking trips. I would recommend this item and purchase it again if needed.

Love it. Be careful when using it though
I'm very impressed by the quality and price of this tripod. I ordered this to compare against a dolica with a similar design (twist legs and ball head, ultra compact). This gets taller, feels much more solid, and compacts down to nearly the same size. Love it. Be careful when using it though, if you do not have the core tension pieces tight enough, the tripod can come apart during usage such as panning. This takes some user experience to get right, but it is a fair tradeoff for versatility and extra height.

No handle
I did not realize it did not have the extension arm or handle to rotate the camera. That's the only thing I did not like about it otherwise it's a great tripod

Great Tripod, Not As Lightweight As You'd Expect
Couldn't be more pleased with this handy little addition to my setup. The ball head has smooth action to it make panning steadily for video a breeze. Not as Lightweight as I had expected but well worth the extra weight to have something this sturdy in my bag. Comes with a nice, padded travel bag.

Really wanted to like this tripod but Ill probably end up buying a different one.
Pros: It's lightweight, collapses and comes with a storage bag.Cons: Instructions are hard to understand not in english pictures on how to invert center post and how to turn it into a monopod were confusing Legs are flimsy and do not stay locked.

It's only 65" because the center rod extends twice which adds height, but also cuts back on stability since it can sway especially if it's windy.
